Jugger ist a german sport where five persons fight with others five for putting a jag (a plastic stick) on the rival
base

And what’s his history?


In 1989 Dämon Theisen make jugger getting inspired on the famous film “The blood of heroes” on this film the
chapters played a violent and futurist sport but he didn’t liked the violence or the futurist parts so he remastered
to build a prototype this prototype was very popular on the german universities but between 1990 and 2000 the
sport extend to parts of Europe and other countries like: Chile, Venezuela or Australia and with so many new people
they make universal rules but they are only used on Europe and on the other countries have their own rules and on
2010 was the first world tournament on Germany and after this tournament they found the global jugger association

The rules
On jugger your team wins if the jag enters on the rival base and who works, you have five persons and four will use
weapons and the other will run, the runner ist the only able to catch the jag but you can’t hit or kill and when a
weapon hits you, you have to count 5 rocks (a rock its 1,5 seconds) and when you are counting you may not move or
use your weapon you have to set and wheat, if you hit on the head or hands doesn’t count like a hit. And what
weapons I may use?

Each weapon has a own special skills the Q-Tip its one of the largest one (with out counting the kette) and it’s the
most versatile, or the kette that IST the most deathless weapon, or the small sword that for being small you may
use two one on each hand or one hand a sword or the other one a shield.

Conclusion
Jugger is a german new sport that you have to fight whit 5 persons to other 5 and you win if you put the jag on
the other base, you have to chose if you are fighter or runner and if you are fighter you have to chose a weapon,
you also have to check your local rules and if you are asking on Asturias you could practice on: Xixón, Uvieu,
Aviles.
