Christmas is in December.

The Independence of the USA is in summer.
In spring, we usually go to the mountains.
We drink coffee in the morning
On – exact dates, days of the week
We have lessons on Mondays.
Her birthday is on Sunday.
They have a meeting on Friday.
Christmas is on Dec 25th.
Independence day is on the 4th of July.

At- exact time, at night

We have a lesson at 2pm.


The meeting is at 8 in the morning.
I’ll see you at 5 o’clock.
The bus leaves the station at 7am.
I like to watch movies at night.

Prepositions of place

In – enclosed spaces
I was born in Italy.
I forgot my bag in the room.
We live in London.
The children are in the house.

On – surfaces

My keys are on the table.


The kids are playing on the floor.
The picture is hanging on the wall.
My clothes are on the bed.

At – specific points

We will meet at the café.


The train is at the station.
He will meet her at the door.
She is at school.
