Where is Indonesia?
Indonesia is a country made
up of many islands in
Southeast Asia.
Surrounded by the ocean,
and it's near countries like
Malaysia and Australia.
Indonesia is a sunny and
beautiful place with lots of
beaches and forests.
Facts about Indonesia
Indonesia has more islands than any other
country, over 17,000!
It has tall mountains with volcanoes
that can spit out hot stuff.
Lots of people with different ways of
talking, doing things, and eating live there.
It's usually hot and nice, with pretty
beaches and green forests.
There are big lizards called Komodo
dragons, big monkeys called orangutans,
and even tigers in Indonesia!
Jakarta

Jakarta, the capital city of
Indonesia, had a population
of around 10 million people.
It's where the leaders
v
of
Indonesia work and make
important decisions for the
whole country. Jakarta is a
bustling and busy city with
lots of people, tall buildings,
and busy streets.
Bali
Bali is a special island in
Indonesia that has pretty
beaches and clear water.
People there do special dances
and have their own traditions.
Many visitors go to Bali to have
fun, see the nice views, and
enjoy the cultures.
Mount Jayawijaya

Mount Jayawijaya, also
known as Puncak Jaya, is the
highest mountain in
Indonesia and vOceania. It's
located on the island of
Papua, which is part of
Indonesia. Mount Jayawijaya
is super tall! It's covered with
snow at the top because it's
so high up in the sky.

Rice is a vital part of
Indonesia's culture.
People work together in rice
fields, planting and
harvesting the grain.
It's a staple food in many

ceremonies celebrate its
importance in Indonesian life.
Traditional

In Indonesia, there are special
dances that tell stories using
graceful moves and colorful
clothes. People from different
places have their own dances.
One famous dance v is "Tari
Topeng" where dancers wear
masks called "topeng." They act
out stories from legends using
different masks and movements.
It's like wearing different faces to
tell exciting tales!
Batik
Batik is a special way of
coloring cloth in Indonesia.
People use wax to draw
patterns on the fabric, then
they paint it with beautiful
colors. This makes pretty
clothes and pictures with
unique designs.
