Known for her quiet discipline, warm nature, and passionate approach to dance and
music, Bavanika is highly regarded by her peers and students. She is a dedicated
teacher and performer, constantly honing her craft while nurturing others.
Education & Training
Senior student at Isha Samskriti, an educational initiative founded by
Sadhguru. Began training in the Kalakshetra Bani tradition of
Bharatanatyam at age 6, known for its precision, grace, and adherence
to classical aesthetics. Currently training under the mentorship of
Radhe Jaggi, a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer,
known for her classical training under the Kalakshetra Bani tradition,
and is the daughter of spiritual leader Sadhguru. Passionate violinist,
furthering her education in classical music.

PERFORMANCES & CONTRIBUTIONS
Mahashivaratri Celebrations, Isha Yoga Centre: Performed at
one of India's largest spiritual and cultural events, attended by
over a million people globally, both in person and via live
stream.
Navaratri Programs and Cauvery Calling Initiative: Participated
in performances across Tamil Nadu, including the renowned
Karur Natyanjali Festival, which celebrates classical dance and
draws hundreds of enthusiasts.
Arangetram (Solo Debut): Successfully completed her
Arangetram at the Isha Yoga Centre, marking a significant
milestone in her Bharatanatyam career. The event was widely
attended and praised, establishing her as an emerging talent in
the classical dance community.
TEACHING & LEADERSHIP
Leads Samskritam chant sessions for Project Samskriti, teaching
students from various parts of the world. Recently took on the role of
teaching younger students at Isha Samskriti, sharing her expertise in
dance and music with the next generation.

Rama Vaidyanathan:
Attended workshops with one of the most renowned
Bharatanatyam dancers, focusing on the emotional and storytelling
aspects of dance, along with technique refinement.
Anupama Kylash:
Studied under an expert in the Vilasini Natyam tradition, gaining
deep insights into this classical form from Andhra Pradesh, learning
its cultural and historical significance.
Leela Samson:
Trained under the legendary Bharatanatyam dancer, focusing on
the purity of movement, spiritual depth, and technical excellence,
with teachings rooted in the Kalakshetra Bani tradition.
Sheejith Krishna:
Attended workshops with a versatile Bharatanatyam choreographer
and teacher, learning the blend of traditional and modern elements
in choreography, as well as his multidisciplinary approach.
Bhavajan Kumar:
Engaged in workshops with this emerging Bharatanatyam artist,
focusing on abhinaya (expressive storytelling) and the integration of
classical and modern themes.
