Good evening, everyone!

VO : A barangay fiesta is a vibrant and cherished tradition in Filipino

communities, celebrated with great enthusiasm and unity. Rooted in

centuries-old customs and religious devotion, these fiestas honor a patron

saint or commemorate significant historical or cultural events. More than just

a celebration, the barangay fiesta brings together families, neighbors, and

visitors through lively music, dance performances, games, and shared meals.

It serves as a

symbol of the community's spirit, faith, and cultural identity, strengthening

the bonds among its residents while showcasing the richness of Filipino

heritage.

Welcome to our Barangay Catugan Fiesta celebration!

Today is a very special day for all of us. It’s a time to give thanks, to be

happy, and to enjoy being together as one community.

To start our program, let us all bow our heads and open with a prayer, to be

led by Ma’am Merly T. Tomas.

[PRAYER] EMCEE: Thank you very much, Ma’am Merly.

Now, let us show our respect for our country. Please stand as we sing the

Philippine National Anthem, led by Marilyn D. Domingo.

Now, let’s hear a warm welcome from our beloved Barangay Captain. Let’s

give a big round of applause to Hon. Samson T. Mariano, our Punong

Barangay.

[WORDS OF WELCOME] EMCEE: Thank you, Kap! We feel your love and

support for our barangay. We are proud to have you as our leader.

Next, let’s enjoy a special performance prepared by the Rural Improvement

Club of Catugan! Get ready to smile and clap along!

[INTERMISSION NUMBER] EMCEE: Wow! That was a fun and wonderful

performance! Thank you so much, RIC of Catugan!

Now, we will hear an inspirational message from a special guest. Let’s

welcome Hon. Maria Olivia B. Pascual, our Municipal Vice Mayor!

[INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE] EMCEE: Thank you very much, Vice Mayor

Pascual! Your words truly inspire us to work together and help one another.

And now, to close our short program, we invite Hon. Janet M. Mariano,

Barangay Kagawad, for the closing remarks.
