INTRODUCTION

Hello, today I’m going to talk about Lana Del Rey. The topic of my presentation is her life
and career as an artist. Lana Del Rey is a famous singer and songwriter known for her
nostalgic style and melancholic voice. I chose to talk about her because she is one of my
favorite singers. I enjoy listening to her music every day and I really like her lyrics and unique
style.

DEVELOPMENT

Lana Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, was born on June 21, 1985,
in New York, USA. She started writing songs at a young age and released her major album
Born to Die in 2012, which became a big success with songs like Summertime Sadness and
Video Games. Her music mixes genres like pop, indie, and rock, with a retro style inspired
by the 1950s and 60s.
Besides singing, Lana also writes poetry. In 2020, she published a book called Violet Bent
Backwards Over the Grass. In her personal life, she is a very private person. She is not
married, but she has had some public relationships. She enjoys spending time in nature,
writing, and taking care of her pets. She had a cat named Salem and she loves animals. Her
style and personality have made her a very influential figure in modern music.

CONCLUSION

In my opinion, Lana Del Rey is a very special artist. I love the way she expresses herself

inspires me. That’s why I chose to talk about her.
