i, Must have a Bachelor's degree in Physics or Science with specialization in Physics;
ii, Proven experience of at least two years on Physcis Laboratory equipment;
iii, | Must have the knowledge of setting up a Laboratory and equipment trouble- shooting,
installation and calibration;
iv. Be registered or registerable with the relevant professional body (where applicable);
v. Proficiency in computer applications; and
vi. Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities at this level entails: ~
i. Perform laboratory experiments in compliance with established procedures.
ii. Maintain laboratory equipment and tools in clean, safe and good condition.
iii, Identify, troubleshoot equipment issues and notify maintenance personnel on any

Technology, Computer Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering from
accredited and recognized institution;
ii, Certification in A+, N+ and/or Cisco;
iii, At least One (1) year working experience since qualifying;
iv. Bea registered member of the professional body (where applicable);
v. Should have a practicing certificate (where applicable); and
vi. Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities at this level entails: -
i. Communicates and enforces computer laboratory policies to all laboratory users;
ji, Maintains security of the software and equipment in the laboratories;
iii, Maintains laboratory computer software and hardware according to an approved
‘maintenance schedule;
iv. Installs software and hardware as directed in conformance to the university ICT policies;
V. Obtains fixes to software and hardware problems guided by the laid down policies and
procedures;
vi. Communicates laboratory problems to the CoD, Dean and other affected personnel; and
vii. Maintains currency in the use of all software and hardware products used in the laboratory.
9, Tutorial Fellow (Grade 11)
Minimum Qualification and Experience
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

Supervise undergraduate student's projects and other experiential learning programme;
vi. Preparing students progress reports; and
vii. Preparing publications and/or books.
10. Lecturer (Grade 12)
Minimum Qualification and Experience
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;
i, Holder ofa PhD in the relevant area from a recognized / accredited University;
ii, Atleast three (3) years teaching experience at university level or three (3) years’ experience
in research or in industry.
iii, A minimum of 24 publication points, of which sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal
papers;
iv. Be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable);
v. Proficiency in Computer Applications; and
vi, Demonstrated potential for teaching and research.
