speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man [is there

that is] fearful and fainthearted? And I heard the number of them which
were sealed: [and there were] sealed an hundred [and] forty [and] four
thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. And on whom [is]
all the desire of Israel? Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty,
and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the
trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on
our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers,
and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this
day. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life
shall be many. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great
abundance. And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his
clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down
in his name, saith the LORD. Whether [it be] good, or whether [it be]
evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send thee;
that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the
wicked poureth out evil things. For all this his anger is not turned
away, but his hand [is] stretched out still. And the children of Israel
cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we
have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim. And they shall be mine,
saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will
spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Were it not
better for us to return into Egypt? Let them praise the name of the LORD:
for he commanded, and they were created. For there are three that bear
record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are one. Nevertheless man [being] in honour abideth not: he is like
the beasts [that] perish. And he saith unto the man which had the
withered hand, Stand forth. Their idols [are] silver and gold, the work
of men’s hands. And I will make them and the places round about my hill
a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there
shall be showers of blessing. For the idols have spoken vanity, and the
diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in
vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled,
because [there was] no shepherd. But what saith the answer of God unto
him? If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I
will surely hear their cry; And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill
you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children
fatherless. And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of
God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the
Philistines seven years. And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now
thine hand into thy bosom. And Israel beheld Joseph’s sons, and said,
Who [are] these? Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There
shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife. For God hath
not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus
Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live
together with him. And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, which slew
of the Philistines six hundred men with an ox goad: and he also delivered
Israel. For our exhortation [was] not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor
in guile: But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the
gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our
hearts. And the chambers and the entries thereof [were] by the posts of
the gates, where they washed the burnt offering. The portion of Jacob
[is] not like them; for he [is] the former of all things: and [Israel is]
the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts [is] his name. None [is so]
fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me? And
they could not in three days expound the riddle. And the flesh of the
sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same
day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.
And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a
strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath. And our
father said, Go again, [and] buy us a little food. And Eleazar the priest
said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This [is] the
ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses; Only the gold, and
the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead, Every thing that
may abide the fire, ye shall make [it] go through the fire, and it shall
be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation:
and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water. I
was a derision to all my people; [and] their song all the day. As the
branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more
can ye, except ye abide in me. So they did in Shiloh unto all the
Israelites that came thither. When [men] are cast down, then thou shalt
say, [There is] lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. Go up to
the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take
pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD. But the servants
of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner’s men, [so that] three
hundred and threescore men died. Therefore night [shall be] unto you,
that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye
shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the
day shall be dark over them. So he died according to the word of the LORD
which Elijah had spoken. For I have received of the Lord that which also
I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the [same] night in which he
was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and
said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in
remembrance of me. For [it is] the day of the LORD’S vengeance, [and]
the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And Samuel said unto
Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.
And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I
[am] the LORD: That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never
open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward
thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD. As he saith also in
Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her
beloved, which was not beloved. For the stone shall cry out of the wall,
and the beam out of the timber shall answer it. Or who hath disposed the
whole world? [was] thine anger against the rivers? And there was no day
like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice
of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel. But it shall be on the seventh
day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his
eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his
clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred
talents which I have given to the army of Israel? Return to thy place,
and abide with the king: for thou [art] a stranger, and also an exile.
But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those
days! And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. Surely he
scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly. Howbeit the
Levites hastened [it] not. And the children of Gad and the children of
Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord
commandeth. Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said, Should a wise
man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind? And Saul

the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. The sons of
Shelah the son of Judah [were], Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the
father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that wrought
fine linen, of the house of Ashbea, And Jokim, and the men of Chozeba,
and Joash, and Saraph, who had the dominion in Moab, and Jashubilehem.
And the LORD said unto the children of Israel, [Did] not [I deliver you]
from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon,
and from the Philistines? So I got a girdle according to the word of the
LORD, and put [it] on my loins. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the
temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest
a worse thing come unto thee. But I will strengthen the arms of the king
of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know
that I [am] the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king
of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. Behold,
for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions
is your mother put away. 1And Solomon had twelve officers over all

are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of
men? I know that he can speak well. Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard
this man of Belial, [even] Nabal: for as his name [is], so [is] he; Nabal
[is] his name, and folly [is] with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the

that he will bring home thy seed, and gather [it into] thy barn? These
things are good and profitable unto men. For as for me, straightway there
remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. Through
the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled. Their throat [is]
an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison
of asps [is] under their lips: Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and
bitterness: Their feet [are] swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery
[are] in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is
no fear of God before their eyes. But a prophet of the LORD was there,
whose name [was] Oded: and he went out before the host that came to
Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers
was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have

therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ

though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee,
yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in
measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. And those that
encamp by him [shall be] the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the

of Asaph. O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding
profane [and] vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so

not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. [is
it] well with thy husband? [Touching] the Almighty, we cannot find him
out: [he is] excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of
justice: he will not afflict. The Lord [is] at hand. And I will bring the
land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be
astonished at it. But all the congregation bade stone them with stones.
He becometh poor that dealeth [with] a slack hand: but the hand of the
diligent maketh rich. Amen. And Joab drew nigh, and the people that
[were] with him, unto the battle against the Syrians: and they fled
before him. And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
For as the woman [is] of the man, even so [is] the man also by the woman;
but all things of God. Behold, they say unto me, Where [is] the word of
the LORD? And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in
Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, [even] the
service of the tabernacle of the congregation. It is turned as clay [to]
the seal; and they stand as a garment. Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that
kings go out [to battle], Joab led forth the power of the army, and
wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged
Rabbah. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. But
if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard [them]; then
he shall bear her iniquity. Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and
all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to
dwell therein, spue you not out. And when he had made an end to offer the
present, he sent away the people that bare the present. Through the wrath
of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the
fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother. And thou shalt make
them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto
the thighs they shall reach: And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his
sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when
they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy [place]; that they
bear not iniquity, and die: [it shall be] a statute for ever unto him and
his seed after him. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many
sparrows. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through
fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy
[place]. They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark
my steps, when they wait for my soul. Now therefore come, let me, I pray
thee, give thee counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the
life of thy son Solomon. But there was none like unto Ahab, which did
sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel
his wife stirred up. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What
[be] these? Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.
For [there is] no bread, neither [is there any] water; and our soul
loatheth this light bread. And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was
gathered unto his people, [being] old and full of days: and his sons Esau
and Jacob buried him. The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth
his trust in the LORD shall be safe. 1And he spake of trees, from the

things, and of fishes. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the

ways. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and
they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; That we also may be like
all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us,
and fight our battles. And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul
king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and
he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half
tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and
to the river Gozan, unto this day. And as they thus spake, Jesus himself
stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you.
Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth
the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the
water of separation shall be unclean until even. Then the lords of the
Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto
Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered
Samson our enemy into our hand. Behold, in the day of your fast ye find
pleasure, and exact all your labours. And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye
[so] ill with me, [as] to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother? When
thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in
the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the
stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God
may bless thee in all the work of thine hands. Thou shalt not plant thee
a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou
shalt make thee. And he came and bowed himself to king Solomon: and
Solomon said unto him, Go to thine house. This day will I begin to put
the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations [that are] under
the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and
be in anguish because of thee. And God spake unto Moses, and said unto
him, I [am] the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto
Jacob, by [the name of] God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not
known to them. There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and [there
is] that withholdeth more than is meet, but [it tendeth] to poverty. 1And
this woman’s child died in the night; because she overlaid it. But
after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix,
willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound. But while he
thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him
in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee
Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. For the
battle was there scattered over the face of all the country: and the wood
devoured more people that day than the sword devoured. Then there arose a
reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest. But without a
parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded
all things to his disciples. And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and
Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham, And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. Now they
began on the first [day] of the first month to sanctify, and on the
eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they
sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day
of the first month they made an end. Wherefore also we pray always for
you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfil
all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with
power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you,
and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus
Christ. And the evening and the morning were the third day. As for me, I
will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. And my temptation which
was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an
angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus. Then the king’s servants, which
[were] in the king’s gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou
the king’s commandment? For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought
all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the
good that I have promised them. Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt,
and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall
come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee;
in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they
shall make supplication unto thee, [saying], Surely God [is] in thee; and
[there is] none else, [there is] no God. And he spake boldly in the name
of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about
to slay him. Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to
the words of my mouth. Or if there be [any] flesh, in the skin whereof
[there is] a hot burning, and the quick [flesh] that burneth have a white
bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white; Then the priest shall look upon
it: and, behold, [if] the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it
[be in] sight deeper than the skin; it [is] a leprosy broken out of the
burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it [is] the
plague of leprosy. And [this] your heave offering shall be reckoned unto
you, as though [it were] the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the
fulness of the winepress. And when it was day, he called [unto him] his
disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and
John, Philip and Bartholomew, Matthew and Thomas, James the [son] of
Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, And Judas [the brother] of James, and
Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor. Give ear to my prayer, O God;
and hide not thyself from my supplication. Plead with your mother, plead:
for she [is] not my wife, neither [am] I her husband: let her therefore
put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between
her breasts; Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she
was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and
slay her with thirst. For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to
hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, [even] the noise of a
great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath
hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the
Egyptians, to come upon us. And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the
fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I [am]
the LORD your God. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works:
in doctrine [shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech,
that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be
ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. Thine heart shall meditate
terror. As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children
of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the
children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day. And the beast was taken,
and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with
which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them
that worshipped his image. Wherefore the law [is] holy, and the
commandment holy, and just, and good. And flocks shall lie down in the
midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the
bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it; [their] voice shall sing
in the windows; desolation [shall be] in the thresholds: for he shall
uncover the cedar work. The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to
the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her
virgins are afflicted, and she [is] in bitterness. And thou shalt bring
the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt
gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together: And thou
shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall
put their hands upon the Levites: And Aaron shall offer the Levites
before the LORD [for] an offering of the children of Israel, that they
may execute the service of the LORD. And they shall take a cloth of blue,
and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and
his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister
unto it: And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a
covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put [it] upon a bar. And Joab
answered and said, Far be it, far be it from me, that I should swallow up
or destroy. And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams
which leap upon the cattle [are] ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for
I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee. Against [him that] bendeth
let the archer bend his bow, and against [him that] lifteth himself up in
his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all
her host. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk. And it came
to pass, when the king of Ai saw [it], that they hasted and rose up
early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and
all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not
that [there were] liers in ambush against him behind the city. By this
therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this [is] all the
fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as
chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not
stand up. But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from
them, and then shall they fast. And the sons of Ulam; Bedan. Then said he
unto me, These [are] the places of them that boil, where the ministers of
the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people. Then Elisha said,
Shoot. Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether [it be] a carcase of
an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of
unclean creeping things, and [if] it be hidden from him; he also shall be
unclean, and guilty. Have [it] to thyself before God. After him repaired
Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto
the turning [of the wall], even unto the corner. And she caught him by
his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand,
and fled, and got him out. And thou shalt eat it [as] barley cakes, and
thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight. And
the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:
And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley
of Eshcol, and searched it out. Then Jesus went with them. I will bear
the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he
plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to
the light, [and] I shall behold his righteousness. And Israel took his
journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered
sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac. Others said, These are not
the words of him that hath a devil. Their knops and their branches shall
be of the same: all it [shall be] one beaten work [of] pure gold. He
withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings [are they] on
the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this
stone that it be made bread. Job 7:7 O remember that my life [is]
wind: mine eye shall no more see good. And thou shalt make holy garments
for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. Bring forth with thee

consider what ye have to do. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh,

Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness,
and speak comfortably unto her. Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat
that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
And they accompanied him unto the ship. LORD, [when] thy hand is lifted
up, they will not see: [but] they shall see, and be ashamed for [their]
envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them. The
range of the mountains [is] his pasture, and he searcheth after every
green thing. When I shall say to the righteous, [that] he shall surely
live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his

eyes. For Tophet [is] ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared;

But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done:
and there is no respect of persons. He will not suffer thy foot to be
moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. He asked life of thee,
[and] thou gavest [it] him, [even] length of days for ever and ever. He
denied [it], and said, I am not. Then Solomon assembled the elders of

planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the
house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against
themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal. Behold,
I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that
bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster
to destroy. And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought
the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep
the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing,
[with] cymbals, psalteries, and with harps. The woman saith unto him,
Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
