And Samuel
said unto the people, [It is] the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and
that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. And in every work
that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in
the commandments, to seek his God, he did [it] with all his heart, and
prospered. Were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to
deliver their lands out of mine hand? And ye shall not walk in the
manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed
all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. Ye have not eaten bread,
neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I
[am] the LORD your God. So shall not the inheritance of the children of
Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of
Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness
[shall be] a sure reward. Having many things to write unto you, I would
not [write] with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak
face to face, that our joy may be full. And all the wise men, that
wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which
they made; And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more
than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to
make. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. She
is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there
hath played the harlot. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man
lay down his life for his friends. [Ye] blind guides, which strain at a
gnat, and swallow a camel. By little and little I will drive them out
from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land. Of Gad;
Eliasaph the son of Deuel. But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered
his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is
spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he [is] not. Mine eyes
do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the
earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the
children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city. And they
covet fields, and take [them] by violence; and houses, and take [them]
away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which [is] in the land of
Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the
city. I have given him the land of Egypt [for] his labour wherewith he
served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD. Come
now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we
will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will
become of his dreams. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the
righteous shall be desolate. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed [be]
Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be
the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And
thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two
sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another
board for his two tenons. The sower soweth the word. And Ezra the priest
brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all
that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh
month. Despise not prophesyings. And the children of Israel, which were
come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves
unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the
LORD God of Israel, did eat, And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven
days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of
the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of
the house of God, the God of Israel. And it came to pass, while they were
slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and
said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy
pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? Then the king commanded, and they
brought Daniel, and cast [him] into the den of lions. And Absalom said to
Hushai, [Is] this thy kindness to thy friend? Then Paul called one of the
centurions unto [him], and said, Bring this young man unto the chief
captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him. And she conceived, and
bare a son; and he called his name Er. And she conceived again, and bare
a son; and she called his name Onan. For that which befalleth the sons of
men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so
dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no
preeminence above a beast: for all [is] vanity. And Benaiah the son of
Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: the LORD God of my lord the
king say so [too]. They will not frame their doings to turn unto their
God: for the spirit of whoredoms [is] in the midst of them, and they have
not known the LORD. David said furthermore, [As] the LORD liveth, the
LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend
into battle, and perish. Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus
Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the
bishops and deacons: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father,
and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot
do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good. Now the body [is] not
for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. But of that
day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in
heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. If I justify myself, mine own
mouth shall condemn me: [if I say], I [am] perfect, it shall also prove
me perverse. Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured
into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. Then shalt thou
walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. And this work of
the candlestick [was of] beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the
flowers thereof, [was] beaten work: according unto the pattern which the
LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick. I will bring it forth,
saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief,
and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall
remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber
thereof and the stones thereof. Come now therefore, and I will send thee
unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of
Israel out of Egypt. He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my
house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight. And there was
also a man that prophesied in the name of the LORD, Urijah the son of
Shemaiah of Kirjathjearim, who prophesied against this city and against
this land according to all the words of Jeremiah: And when Jehoiakim the
king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the
king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid,
and fled, and went into Egypt; And Jehoiakim the king sent men into
Egypt, [namely], Elnathan the son of Achbor, and [certain] men with him
into Egypt. Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the
famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation
that will not serve the king of Babylon? But brother goeth to law with
brother, and that before the unbelievers. Fools because of their
transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. And it
came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue
of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and
also of the Greeks believed. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Let him shew out
of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. And Nathanael
said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? But when
the Jews spake against [it], I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not
that I had ought to accuse my nation of. I will offer unto thee burnt
sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks
with goats. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin
against thee. Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the
saints. Who [is] he that hideth counsel without knowledge? Because I knew
that thou [art] obstinate, and thy neck [is] an iron sinew, and thy brow
brass; I have even from the beginning declared [it] to thee; before it
came to pass I shewed [it] thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath
done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants,
and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice
[to do] to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. All thy
trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume. Who is able to make
war with him? And when Shaul was dead, Baalhanan the son of Achbor
reigned in his stead. Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee,
[thou] whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and
commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? And Saul said unto
Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way
which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and
have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Shall it prosper? By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry
[land]: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. Again the word
of the LORD of hosts came [to me], saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts;
I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her
with great fury. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and
thou renewest the face of the earth. Judge in yourselves: is it comely
that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Gather not my soul with sinners,
nor my life with bloody men: In whose hands [is] mischief, and their
right hand is full of bribes. Woe unto the wicked! [it shall be] ill
[with him]: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. Abram dwelled
in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and
pitched [his] tent toward Sodom. Every branch in me that beareth not
fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth
it, that it may bring forth more fruit. If I wait, the grave [is] mine
house: I have made my bed in the darkness. And if it be stolen from him,
he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof. And I bought the field
of Hanameel my uncle’s son, that [was] in Anathoth, and weighed him the
money, [even] seventeen shekels of silver. Shout against her round about:
she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown
down: for it [is] the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as
she hath done, do unto her. And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do
good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? Though ye offer me burnt
offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept [them]: neither will
I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. [Is it] nothing to you,
all ye that pass by? He shall build an house for my name, and I will
stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. He shall build me an house,
and I will stablish his throne for ever. Praise ye the LORD. Of Gershom;
Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son, Joah his son, Iddo his
son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son. And the most proud shall stumble
and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his
cities, and it shall devour all round about him. And he said, There
remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. Flee, get
you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath
conceived a purpose against you. And [as for] the prophet, and the
priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will
even punish that man and his house. Now this [was the manner] in former
time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to
confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave [it] to his
neighbour: and this [was] a testimony in Israel. I therefore, the
prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation
wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with
longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the
unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. And he shall put [some] of the
blood upon the horns of the altar which [is] before the LORD, that [is]
in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood
at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which [is at] the door
of the tabernacle of the congregation. For behold the stone that I have
laid before Joshua; upon one stone [shall be] seven eyes: behold, I will
engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove
the iniquity of that land in one day. And Jacob took a stone, and set it
up [for] a pillar. And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon
king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of
every city. Job 7:8 The eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no
[more]: thine eyes [are] upon me, and I [am] not. Jesus Christ the same
yesterday, and to day, and for ever. And [as for] my flock, they eat that
which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have
fouled with your feet. And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, [one] of the
sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our
God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now
there is hope in Israel concerning this thing. Withdraw thine hand far
from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid. And unto the angel of the
church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits
of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that
thou livest, and art dead. And of Gad he said, Blessed [be] he that
enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown
of the head. For this [is] thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward
God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. (For all the Athenians and
strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either
to tell, or to hear some new thing.) Then Paul stood in the midst of
Mars’ hill, and said, [Ye] men of Athens, I perceive that in all things
ye are too superstitious. Ten cubits [shall be] the length of a board,
and a cubit and a half [shall be] the breadth of one board. And the three
companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps
in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow
[withal]: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. And
Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother
be childless among women. And the king said, [Is] the young man Absalom
safe? And they bend their tongues [like] their bow [for] lies: but they
are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil
to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD. Then all the people of
Judah took Uzziah, who [was] sixteen years old, and made him king in the
room of his father Amaziah. Then went he inward, and measured the post of
the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the
door, seven cubits. And it came to pass, when all the people were clean
passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying, Take you
twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man, And command ye
them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place
where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry
them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall
lodge this night. But flesh with the life thereof, [which is] the blood
thereof, shall ye not eat. And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he
said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? And he set the rods
which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering
troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when
they came to drink. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have
agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Pass ye over to
Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle. His eyes [were] as a flame of
fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that
no man knew, but he himself. And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea
even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river:
for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou
shalt drive them out before thee. Remove thy stroke away from me: I am
consumed by the blow of thine hand. In the last day, that great [day] of
the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come
unto me, and drink. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have
made his defence unto the people. And when they had numbered, behold,
Jonathan and his armourbearer [were] not [there]. And the land had rest
forty years. Amen. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my
transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy
goodness’ sake, O LORD. Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ
Jesus: Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only
I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. And when he had
spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Give not thy strength unto
women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. But when ye sin so
against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against
Christ. And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel
went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land. He that hath an
ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. And [other] of
their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, [were] over the shewbread,
to prepare [it] every sabbath. Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of
man and beast. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created
these [things], that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them
all by names by the greatness of his might, for that [he is] strong in
power; not one faileth. Then said he unto me, Son of man, these [are] the
men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city: Which
say, [It is] not near; let us build houses: this [city is] the caldron,
and we [be] the flesh. And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway
to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him. Then the chief captain
took him by the hand, and went [with him] aside privately, and asked

wellbeloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts. But when
Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem
the Arabian, heard [it], they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and
said, What [is] this thing that ye do? Now at the end of the days that
the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs
brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. And when Jesus departed thence,
two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, [Thou] Son of David, have
mercy on us. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived,
that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. And in these days came
prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch. And Absalom made Amasa captain of
the host instead of Joab: which Amasa [was] a man’s son, whose name

sister to Zeruiah Joab’s mother. [how] shall I set thee as Zeboim? And
she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the
young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and
come again. And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses,
and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have
executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and
they shall know that I [am] the LORD their God. Before I was afflicted I
went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Praise ye the LORD. Therefore
I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing
praises unto thy name. Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his
angels he charged with folly: How much less [in] them that dwell in
houses of clay, whose foundation [is] in the dust, [which] are crushed
before the moth? So Balaam went with the princes of Balak. For his sons
had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah. Fear none
of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast
[some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have
tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a
crown of life. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee
the desires of thine heart. He brought them out, after that he had shewed
wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the
wilderness forty years. And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock
in pieces, and laid [him] on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with
water, and pour [it] on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. Verily I
say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the
day of judgment, than for that city. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
[be] with you all. Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle

like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the
earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because
of thee. David’s [Psalm] of praise. Who can bring a clean [thing] out
of an unclean? And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe
unto thee! saith the Lord GOD;) [That] thou hast also built unto thee an
eminent place, and hast made thee an high place in every street. Then
saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night:
for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock
shall be scattered abroad. And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of
the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that
Elisha hath done. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he
fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not. Therefore [will] I [be] unto
Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness. For unto you
is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the
Lord. Every man is brutish by [his] knowledge; every founder is
confounded by the graven image: for his molten image [is] falsehood, and
[there is] no breath in them. So the people rested on the seventh day.
Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in
Horeb for all Israel, [with] the statutes and judgments. And when she was
come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid
upon the bed. But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we
builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked
the Jews. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up [as]
the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand. Then said
he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the
wall, behold a door. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be
crucified. Thus [were] the journeyings of the children of Israel
according to their armies, when they set forward. And there came down
fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. He therefore that
ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, [doeth he
it] by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Pilate saith
unto them, Shall I crucify your King? And Pharaoh was wroth against two
[of] his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the
chief of the bakers. And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and
said, Who [am] I, O LORD God, and what [is] mine house, that thou hast
brought me hitherto? The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred
twenty and five. Howbeit the high places were not taken away: as yet the
people did sacrifice and burnt incense on the high places. And they said,
Thy servants [are] twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of
Canaan; and, behold, the youngest [is] this day with our father, and one
[is] not. And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely
visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to
Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. Therefore he would not drink it. And
Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? Through desire a man,
having separated himself, seeketh [and] intermeddleth with all wisdom.
Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. This [is]
the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time. Thou
hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them,
[but] they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces
harder than a rock; they have refused to return. And the man that will do
presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to
minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man
shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel. Let us go forth
therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. They shall
cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their
silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the
wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their
bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity. The sons of
Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son, Elkanah his son,
and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son, Tahath his son, Uriel his son,
Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son. If thou lend money to [any of] my
people [that is] poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer,
neither shalt thou lay upon him usury. He built the higher gate of the
house of the LORD. And she took [it] up, and went into the city: and her
mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave
to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed. All the ends of the
world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the
nations shall worship before thee. Let another man praise thee, and not
thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. Sing, O ye heavens;
for the LORD hath done [it]: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break
forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for
the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel. And all
the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper:
for the LORD shall deliver [it] into the hand of the king. By humility
[and] the fear of the LORD [are] riches, and honour, and life. I chose
out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one
[that] comforteth the mourners. And of it he shall offer one out of the
whole oblation [for] an heave offering unto the LORD, [and] it shall be
the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings. A
drought [is] upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it [is] the
land of graven images, and they are mad upon [their] idols. Now he [was]
ruddy, [and] withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to.
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very
good. He also [shall be] my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come
before him. For who [is] like me? [Thou art] my portion, O LORD: I have
said that I would keep thy words. And it shall be, if they refuse to take
the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink. And [some] of the sons of
the priests made the ointment of the spices. And Moses gave unto the
tribe of the children of Reuben [inheritance] according to their
families. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall
keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. And the four angels were
loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a
year, for to slay the third part of men. I have not sat with vain
persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. And Asa slept with his
fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father:
and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead. And, behold, the LORD
passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in
pieces the rocks before the LORD; [but] the LORD [was] not in the wind:
and after the wind an earthquake; [but] the LORD [was] not in the
earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; [but] the LORD [was] not in
the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. Whereas thou camest
[but] yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? Is
any among you afflicted? And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give
me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house [is] this Eliezer
of Damascus? Happy [are] thy men, happy [are] these thy servants, which
stand continually before thee, [and] that hear thy wisdom. And he said
unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because thou hast let go out of [thy] hand
a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go
for his life, and thy people for his people. Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that [are]
with thee [are] too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands,
lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved
me. 1[But] if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your
children, and will not keep my commandments [and] my statutes which I
have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them: 1Then
will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this
house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight;
and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: 1And at this
house, [which] is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished,
and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this
land, and to this house? And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake
against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a
great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been
done upon Jerusalem. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated
from Israel all the mixed multitude. And thou shalt eat before the LORD
thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the
tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of
thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy
God always. A wicked man hardeneth his face: but [as for] the upright, he
directeth his way. These only [are my] fellowworkers unto the kingdom of
God, which have been a comfort unto me. So Saul died for his
transgression which he committed against the LORD, [even] against the
word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking [counsel] of
[one that had] a familiar spirit, to inquire [of it]; And inquired not of
the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the
son of Jesse. Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation,

the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter,
and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her
daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. Then
he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and
send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for [this] day [is]
holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your
strength. Wherefore they say, [Is] Saul also among the prophets? Be ye
followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ. Nevertheless, brethren, I
have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in
mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, That I should be
the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of
God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being
sanctified by the Holy Ghost. And now, because ye have done all these
works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and
speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;
Therefore will I do unto [this] house, which is called by my name,
wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your
fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. But when Pharaoh saw that there was
respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD
had said. Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing
that thou wilt also do more than I say. Leah [was] tender eyed; but

because of the wicked that forsake thy law. When he saw Jesus, he cried
out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to
do with thee, Jesus, [thou] Son of God most high? Then said Jonathan,
Behold, we will pass over unto [these] men, and we will discover
ourselves unto them. 1Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee;
[I pray thee], say me not nay. And they departed from the mount of the
LORD three days’ journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went
before them in the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place
for them. And when the governor had read [the letter], he asked of what
province he was. Or shall they be sold unto us? He that troubleth his own
house shall inherit the wind: and the fool [shall be] servant to the wise

justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin. Know
therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment
to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be]
seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built
again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Let thine hand, I pray
thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father’s house; but not on thy
people, that they should be plagued. But the voice answered me again from
heaven, What God hath cleansed, [that] call not thou common. Therefore
the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to
Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance. [A

fire of the children of Israel? [As] I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt
surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them [on
thee], as a bride [doeth]. Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor
in his cause. They say unto him, We are able. And, lo, I perceived that
God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me:
for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. And afterward when David heard
[it], he said, I and my kingdom [are] guiltless before the LORD for ever
from the blood of Abner the son of Ner: Let it rest on the head of Joab,
and on all his father’s house; and let there not fail from the house of
Joab one that hath an issue, or that is a leper, or that leaneth on a
staff, or that falleth on the sword, or that lacketh bread. And he that
offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of
the tribe of Judah: And his offering [was] one silver charger, the weight
thereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy
shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them [were] full of
fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering: One spoon of ten
[shekels] of gold, full of incense: One young bullock, one ram, one lamb
of the first year, for a burnt offering: One kid of the goats for a sin
offering: And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams,

[and] filthiness, [so that there is] no place [clean]. I have not sent
these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they
prophesied. I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring
thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not
known. In the first month, that [is], the month Nisan, in the twelfth
year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that [is], the lot, before Haman
from day to day, and from month to month, [to] the twelfth [month], that

an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of
holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it [shall be] for
those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err [therein]. He that
deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person. And Joash did
[that which was] right in the sight of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada
the priest. Yea, before the day [was] I [am] he; and [there is] none that
can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? [And] when
they [were] by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said unto
his master, Come, I pray thee, and let us turn in into this city of the

sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father; and his kingdom was
established greatly. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father,
and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? For
the LORD most high [is] terrible; [he is] a great King over all the
earth. And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon. And the
garrison of the Philistines went out to the passage of Michmash. Let all
those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy
