Center.   Nagkaroon   ng   isang   pagpupulong  
ang  Board  of  Directors  ng  NATRIPAL,  mga  
elder  mula  sa  katutubong  Tagbanua,  Batak  
at  Palawan  at  kasama  din  dito  si  Miss  Crissy  
Guerrero  ng  NTFP.  Pinag-­usapan  nila  kung  
ano   ang   magiging   disenyo   nito,   anu-­ano  
ang  mga  lalamanin  at  iba  pang  mga  bagay  
kaugnay   sa   pagtatayo   ng   isang   heritage  
center.   Ngunit   matingkad   rito   ang   palihan  
ng   ano   ang   magiging   kahalagahan   ng  
pagtatayo  ng  heritage  center  ng  NATRIPAL.  
Sapagkat   kung   matutupad   nga   ito,   ito   ang  
siyang   magiging   kauna-­unahang   heritage   center   sa   buong  
Palawan   na   ang   nakapagtayo   din   ay   isang   katutubong

Best  Native  Forest  Tree  Nursery

The  RFRI  launched  this  year  the  Leonard  Co  Award  for  
Best  Native  Forest  Tree  Nursery.  Top  3  winners  (Nabingkalan  
Indigenous   Seedlings   Producers   Association,   San   Carlos,  
Negros  Occidental-­grand  prize;Imbayao  Community-­Based  
Forest   Management   Farmers   Association,   Malaybalay,  
Bukidnon-­1st   runner   up;   and   Brgy   Talisay   Nursery,   Lipa  
City,   Batangas-­2nd   runner   up)   were   awarded   during   the  
first  symposium  of  the  PNPCSI  in  November  19-­20,  2011.  
They  received  a  plaque  of  recognition  and  certificates.  The  
best  forest  tree  nursery  also  received  PhP  100,000  in  cash.
The   network   is   planning   to   make   this   an   annual   event  
to   encourage   more   nursery   owners   to   raise   native   tree

Festival sa Tarlac noong Abril 28-29.
Tinawag na “Mam-eh” o “pagbabahagi” ang kauna-
unahang Aeta Festival ng Pagkaing -Gubat ang pagdiriwang.
Dito ay nagkaroon ng pagbabahaginan ng pagkain at yaman
ng kulturang Aeta. Bukod dito, layunin din ng gawain na
isulong ang pagkilala ng karapatan sa lupaing ninuno.
