Title: Airframe and Powerplant
Time: All Blocks
Presenter: PCT faculty
Description: During this session, cadets will learn about the different parts of an aircraft
and how they are built and serviced. This session will go well beyond what you learn at the
squadron level with the ability to see and understand all of the inner workings of an aircraft!
Note that this session is for the entire day, and there is limited space available.
Title: Color Guard Introduction
Time: Blocks 1 and 2
Presenter: Lt. Col. Robin Steiner, C/1st. Lt. Swift, and C/CMSgt. Frame
Description: Join us for an introduction to all things Color Guard! We’ll cover everything
from the proper equipment to basic movements. If you’re looking to revamp or establish a
Color Guard in your home squadron, this is the perfect opportunity. Come with an open
mind and a notebook ready to take notes!
Title: Cadet Commander Boot Camp

Description: Join us for an immersive Cadet Commander Boot Camp designed for aspiring
leaders in the Civil Air Patrol! This session will focus on leadership skills, team dynamics,
and effective communication. Cadets will engage in Q&A discussions, explore leadership
techniques, and learn about available resources and their effective utilization. The
bootcamp aims to develop the essential skills and knowledge necessary to excel as a
commander by addressing various key areas revolving around Squadrons.

Description: During this session, you will get to work with Pennn College instructor William
Schlosser on the different aspects of Emergency Management. See how what we do in
Civil Air Patrol connects in with the larger field of emergency management.

Description: Get up close and personal with experts in the field as you work with
instructors at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. This hands on session will go
beyond basic skills. Learn what it's like to be a student in a medical field and whether this

Description: Join us for an exciting, hands-on advanced paper airplane competition! Bring
your creativity and engineering skills as you design, build, and test your very own paper
airplanes with working control surfaces. Compete against fellow enthusiasts to see whose
creation can fly the farthest or perform the best tricks. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or
just starting out, this event promises fun and learning for everyone. Don’t miss out on the
chance to showcase your skills and discover new techniques in the art of paper airplane
flight!

Description: Band members will rehearse together to prepare for upcoming events,
covering the National Anthem, the Air Force Song, and other selections. Attendance is
mandatory unless there are extenuating circumstances, and prior practice is essential.
Additionally, band staff will be available for optional individual or sectional tutoring during
this time. These sessions can address any topics band members wish to cover, including
music practice, score analysis, and conducting.

Description: Get ready for an engaging session where we’ll dive into the exciting world of
the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Promotions Process! We’ll explore the ranks you can earn, from
C/Amn to C/Col., and break down the fun requirements you’ll need to tackle along the way.
Think of it as a quest where you level up by completing challenges like leadership projects,
physical fitness tests, and squadron activities. We’ll also share tips on how to ace the
promotion board and impress your squadron leaders. By the end, you’ll be pumped and
ready to embark on your journey to soar through the ranks, equipped with all the knowledge

Officers (ALO) and parents of 1Lt Ceara Berry, USAFA Class of 2022, discuss the Academy,
application process and key dates for pursuing an Appointment. They'll offer their
perspective as parents of a former USAFA Cadet, now an Air Force Officer, and provide
helpful first hand information about admissions as ALOs. Suggested audience is CAP
Cadets, their parents or guardians and all our members who support Cadet Programs.

team, study up on your CAP trivia, and bring your A-game! Whether you’re a seasoned pro
or new to the program, everyone is welcome to participate and have a great time. Prizes

Description: Interested in working in an Incident Command Post? Ever wonder what
happens in planning a mission? This session is for you! You will get to work in the Penn
College Emergency Operations Center and play out different scenarios. This session is for
cadets who have an interest in upper level emergency services qualifications!

Description: Get ready for an exciting TLP experience where you’ll not only learn how to
lead a TLP but also dive into one yourself! This session is all about teamwork and critical

reasoning and communication skills in a fun, collaborative environment. Join us for a
