PowerTest Installation and Authorization Instruction

1. Download the setup files from the CD-ROM or internet.

2. Double click the setup program.


3. It pops up the installation wizard and clicks the “Next” to continue.

4. Then it pops up the License Agreement. Select the “I accept the agreement” and click
“Next” to continue.
5. Now it is the installation information. Press “Next” to continue.

6. Select the destination location. The path “C:\PowerTest” is recommended.


7. Select the components you desire. It is suggested to install the complete components.

8. Fill the start menu folder name. It is suggested to keep it original.


9. Select the additional tasks such as if create a desktop icon or create a quick launch
icon.

10. Confirm all the installation information and press “Install” to finish it.
11. The program is in process.

12. If user plans to start the PowerTest immediately, please select “Launch PowerTest” to
start.

13. Setup has finished installing the program. Next users install the authorization files.
14. There are three packages of the software. If users purchase the basic package, it is
unnecessary to install the authorization file. The protection and advanced packages
are installed in the following steps.
15. The authorization file is generally sn.zip file or sn folder.

16. Extract the zip file and get the file folder, or directly open the sn folder and find the
folder, named “Test Template”.

17. Copy the file folder to the installation address of PowerTest such as C:\PowerTest

18. It will pop up the following dialog when users paste the folder.

19. Press “Yes to All” to install the authorization file.


20. Check the file.
21. Run the QuickTest in the basic package online, the below message pops up and
please press “Yes”. The kit information is updated in the program.
Then exit the QuickTest.

22. The font color is black after successful authorization; otherwise, it is in grey.
