Subject: Application for Leave Due to Illness

Respected Sir/Ma’am,

With due respect, I am writing to inform you about my health condition and to
request a short-term leave. My name is Shivam Mahto, and I am a student in
Class 7B. Unfortunately, I have been unwell since last night, specifically suffering
from a high fever, cold and cough,Vommiting and general weakness that has
made it difficult for me to carry out my regular activities, including attending
school. My family consulted our doctor, who has diagnosed me with a viral
infection and has prescribed complete bed rest for a period of five days to
ensure a full and proper recovery.

Given these circumstances, I sincerely request that you kindly grant me leave
from 19th November 2024 to 22nd November 2024. I understand the importance
of regular attendance and keeping up with my studies, and I assure you that I
will make every effort to catch up on any missed assignments and lessons as
soon as I am able to return to school.

I am hopeful that my request will be granted, allowing me the time I need to

rest and regain my strength. I deeply appreciate your understanding and
consideration in this matter.

Thank you very much for your attention and support.

Yours obediently,
Shivam Mahto
