vlhworkers@[Link], represented by Mircea Maier, in his capacity as Managing Director, We submit the
presentation in order to clarify the situation of the candidates presented by Palma Recruiting Agency, in its
capacity as leader in recruitment for our company.
The deadlines for issuing the documents necessary to obtain the right to work and the work visa,
on the territory of Romania, have changed after our country's entry into the Shengen area. I mention this
aspect because the changes happened at the beginning of April this year, which is why until the
implementation there was an uncertain period of time regarding the application of the changes. It is also
important to specify the term of entry into force of the new deadlines because there are applicants who
accessed this program before the entry into force of the new amendments, but who were considered as
applicants for the Shengen work visa – for Romania.
Also, these deadlines mentioned above are not the responsibility of Palma Recruiting or its
partners on the territory of Kenya, but of our Company, which in turn depends on the way of working of
the governmental organizations on the territory of Romania.
Taking into account the above-mentioned aspects, we specify the following:
1. The first group whose visas were denied will be going to the embassy for visa reapplication
from TUESDAY 10th of December, 2024. They will go in groups of 15(fifteen). The groups
of 15 and their respective dates will be prepared and communicated at least 3 days before
to allow for renewal of certificates of good conduct that may have expired. We assert that
this group will have all the necessary documents to work in Romania, and will have travelled
by the end of January 2025.
2. Visa reapplication charges, Renewal of certificate of good conduct and travel insurance
charges in relation to the above group will be borne by the employer.
3. The above however, will not apply to the seven persons whose visas were rejected for
various reasons. We are not at liberty to give the list of those whose visas were denied. They
will be contacted directly and individually.
4. For Candidates who applied between March and June 2024; the work permits are ready
and they will be going to the embassy for visa application after the first group, from the
10th of January 2025, again in groups of 15. We confirm that this group will have all the
necessary documents to work in Romania, and will have travelled by the mid of February
2025.
1
5. Candidates who applied between July and November 2024, will have the necessary
documents to work in Romania and will have travelled by the end of March 2025. Their
work permits are in progress and dates for visa application will be communicated
immediately after the work permits are ready.
Important Note.
1. We are firmly committed that if we do not comply with these deadlines, we will refund the
amounts of money collected from clients, through the Recruitment Agencies, considering that
the responsibility lies entirely with our Company.
2. Palma and its partners are not responsible for the results obtained in Romania.
3. As for the veracity of the documents submitted by the candidates, they are solely responsible.
Visa rejection on the fault of the candidate will be the responsibility of that candidate.
4. Any candidate who wishes to cancel and withdraw from this process will have his or her money
refunded within 14days LESS the work permit money and office administrative charges.
However, that amount of money held for purposes of processing the work permit will be
FULLY REFUNDABLE if the candidates work permit is not processed and presented by the
expiry of the deadlines stipulated above.
5. Cancellation must be in writing and must be duly signed.
6. In normal circumstances, Romanian work permit takes 5-6 months and visa approval 1-2months
Our company undertakes to comply with the above mentioned and to act in good faith and ensure
that every qualifying candidate gets a placement.
