A. RATIONALE
The accounting profession is highly competitive, requiring both technical expertise and
strategic preparation. Many aspiring accountants struggle with the board exam due to a
lack of proper guidance. Additionally, women continue to be underrepresented in
leadership roles within the industry. This project aims to address these challenges by
providing targeted training and empowerment programs.
B. OBJECTIVES
The primary objectives of this project are:
1) To equip participants with effective study techniques, time management skills, and
board exam strategies.
2) To encourage and empower women in accounting through leadership training and
career development workshops.
3) To develop the confidence of the future board exam takers.
C. BASIS OF THE PROPOSAL
This project indicates that structured board exam review programs significantly
increase passing rates. Research shows that women are underrepresented in leadership
roles in accounting and finance. There is a growing need for mentorship programs to
support future accountants in their professional journey. This aligns with the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education,
which emphasizes equitable access to education and skills training, SDG 8: Decent Work
and Economic Growth, which encourages employment opportunities and career
advancement; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, highlighting the importance of
collaboration among institutions to achieve meaningful progress in the profession
D. EXPECTED OUTCOME

among participants, enhanced confidence and preparedness for the board examination,
strengthened leadership and career advancement opportunities for women in accounting,
and the creation of a supportive network among accounting professionals.
