Dear Children,
The holidays have begun. It is time to have fun. Time for you to catch up with all that you
have been longing to do. Pursue your hobbies. Enjoy the beautiful morning sunrise and
evening sunset, admire the beauty of Nature, hear the chirping birds and see the fluttering
butterflies. It is time to catch up with Grandma's never-ending stories and play wonderful
games with Grandpa. To add to this fun time, we have prepared some fun-filled activities to
be done during summer break
Mathematics Holiday Homework
1. Be the master of tables and dodging
Learn tables from 2to 12 thoroughly. Be ready for dodging activity after
the summer break.
Solve the following after learning the tables in your rough notebook.
2. The following activity “Mathstoon” needs to be done on an A4 sheet. The
steps are given below:
i. Take any 4 random digits (for example, 3, 4, 7, 8).
ii. Make 4 funny pictures or animal/cartoon characters using those chosen
digits, on an A4 sheet. Write the name of the character. Don’t forget to
decorate your project nicely.

Recipe Writing Project Work: Learn to make homemade ice cream using milk,
cream, sugar,and your favorite flavors. Explore a variety of recipes and
experiment with different flavors and toppings. Document your recipe step-
by-step, detailing ingredients and techniques. Enhance your presentation
with colorful illustrations showcasing your ice cream-making journey.
❖Handwriting NoteBook
Do one page handwriting EVERYDAY in a thin single-line notebook. Write one
good line or a phrase and write it nicely on the entire sheet.

Communication
Dear parent it’s time to help your ward to learn and converse in English. Help
your ward share their experiences about the places they visit during the
summer break and develop your child’s communication skills by conversing with
him/ her in English. This will help them develop their confidence and self-
esteem.
Also help your child understand the importance of three golden words –
Thank you, Please and Sorry.

i) As our school is working towards many sustainable goals, we want you
to spread it outside our premises towards our society. Form a smart
children’s group and start a cleanliness drive in your society or locality.
• Adopt a plant, water it daily twice during your leisure time.
• Do your bit to save power and water.
• Donate old clothes and toys to charity.
• Carry re-usable bags when you go for shopping.
ii) Finger Art:- Draw living and non-living things using finger art and write
any two differences between living and non-living things.
iii) “Eat a rainbow, live a healthy life!” “Fuel your body with goodness!”- are
some quotes we keep on hearing but this summer let’s try hands on making
healthy and balanced diet platter for the family.
TIPS: Create a colorful platter with your favorite fruits, veggies, nuts etc.
including all category of food. Serve it to your family members and enjoy eating
with them.

Reading newspaper is an excellent habit. Look through some old newspaper &
find out articles that talk about ‘SAVING OUR ENVIRONMENT’. Find out what
message the article to give.
