What is Hack the Gap?
Hack the Gap is a tech community focused on women
and non-binary people and those at the intersection of race. We host
bootcamps, hackathons and connect participants with employers.

What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is a two-day event aimed at creating a high-energy weekend where
people from all backgrounds and experience levels can enjoy an accessible,
approachable, positive experience.

How else can I participate?


If you aren’t able to join the hackathon, you can come to demo day and see all the
amazing projects that participants worked on and vote for your favorite one!

Do I need to have previous experience in tech?


Not at all! Join women and non-binary individuals from all backgrounds and experience
levels to have fun, connect with others and challenge yourself to build something
amazing!

What will I get out of this experience?


Other than great connections and an action-packed weekend, there will be cash and
community prizes for individuals and winning teams! There will also be tech
professionals and companies you can talk with about your career in tech!
