manufacturing of personal protection, platform protection like vehicle armor and aircraft armor,
naval armor, aircraft kit. One of the ambitious projects is that of being the first to produce next-gen
ceramic armor in India. The group has played an important role in providing hi-tech solution for the
defense industry. The SM Group also work with armor ceramic, blast protection like bomb
blanket/basket, floor protection solution.
Responsibilities: -
Knowledge of design and layout of aircraft floor structure with conventional view projection,
geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
Design of composite and metallic for vehicle Armoring (sheet metal, structure, door hinges, brakes
pad, suspension system, composite panel).
Knowledge of structure design ballistic shield hanging platform, ballistic shield glass holding frame,
Missile transporter trailer chassis etc.
Designed and detailed drafting using CATIA V5 (2D/3D).
