NO.SO(A-l)1-31/2022: Consequent upon approval of the Competent Authority following school
hereby notified due to constant heatwave w.e.f 21.05.2025 to 27.05.2025 for
timings are
observance in all Public Schools across the Punjab:

A. FOR STUDENTS

DAYS TIMINGS
Monday to Friday 07:30 am to 11:30 am

B. FOR TEACHERS

DAYS TIMINGS ACTIVITY


Resource Preparation and formulation
Monday to Thursday 07:15 am to 12:00 noon of Lesson Plan for Classes.
Continuous Professional
Development (CPD) trainings
Friday 07:15 am to 11:30 am academic & co-curricular activities,
etc. would be undertaken by all
teachers of morning schools during
Alternate Saturday 07:30 am to 10:30 am enhanced school hours and on
alternate Saturday.

2. All Chief Executive Officers (District Education Authorities) in Punjab are directed
to ensure strict compliance of Revised School Timings. Any negligence or non-compliance by
CEOs (DEA) will be dealt with in accordance with the law

Note: The Chief Executive Officer (DEA) concerned may make adjustment of 15-minutes gap in
opening and closing time of girls schools in the district.
