Subject: Complaint Regarding Misbehavior by Emergency Ward Staff
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the inappropriate and disrespectful
behavior of a staff member in the Emergency Ward of your hospital.
My wife, Maheen Abbas, is currently admitted to Mukhtar A. Sheikh Hospital on16th May. As
per the instructions written on her prescription, there was an instruction mentioned something
about “1 hour L/A.” To clarify this, I approached the first counter nearly about time (3:30PM to
4:30 PM ) in the Emergency Ward and asked a staff member to help verify what was written.
Instead of assisting me politely, the staff member responded with anger and rudeness. When I
asked him to kindly read the instructions mentioned on the prescription, he replied harshly,
asking “yai kis nai likha hai?” I informed him that I wasn’t sure and requested him to check the
prescription. He continued to act rudely, questioning, “kis doctor nai likha hai?” I again
requested him to kindly refer to the prescription. He says there is no doctor name mentioned in
the prescription And I say as it was issued from your hospital you should better know.
He then said in an aggressive tone, “Main tmhara hal krta hun,” and “2 mint ruko tmhain btata
hun, And he Says Also “tmnai mujhe offend kiya hai ” And “he ask rudely from me kai kahan
sai ayai ho”
And then for his own revenge purpose he misguided me and send me wrong direction as it was
his attention take revenge
i was shocked and deeply hurt by this treatment. As a concerned family member simply seeking
clarification regarding a patient’s care, I did not expect such unprofessional behavior from
hospital staff.
I respectfully request that strict action be taken against the concerned staff member to ensure
that patients and their families are treated with dignity and respect at all times. I am hopeful
that the hospital administration will investigate this matter seriously.
