1. Tell us something about yourself.

Hi , my name is Yogesh and I live in Tambaram, Chennai. I have been working as a

department manager at Reliance retail limited for the last two and a half years. I enjoy
leading a team of 10 to 14 people and ensuring that the store operations follow the standard
procedures. However, I am looking for a new challenge and a career change in a different
field. That's why I am leaving my current job on 7th January 2024. I hope to find a suitable
opportunity that matches my skills and interests.

2. How important is stability in professional career?

Some people might think that stability is the most important thing in a professional career. They
don’t want to take risks or change jobs too often. They value security and predictability over
excitement and challenge. But other people might have a different perspective. They might think
that stability is boring and limiting. They want to explore new opportunities and learn new skills.
They value growth and variety over comfort and routine. There is no right or wrong answer to this
question. It depends on your personality, goals and preferences. What matters is that you find a
career that suits you and makes you happy.

2. Give an example of an occasion when you used logic to solve problem.

One time, I had to deal with a customer who was very angry because he received a damaged
product. He wanted a full refund and a replacement, but our policy only allowed for one or the
other. I used logic to solve this problem by explaining to him the reasons behind our policy and
how it was fair for both parties. I also offered him some alternatives, such as a partial refund and
a discount coupon for his next purchase. I managed to calm him down and convince him to
accept the partial refund and the coupon. He thanked me for being patient and understanding,
and said he would buy from us again.
4. Give an example of a goal you reached and tell me how you achieved it.

One of my goals was to build a new house for my parents. I have been working hard to save money
and find a good location. I also researched different designs and materials that would suit their
needs and preferences. I have not achieved this goal yet, but I am making progress every day. I
hope to surprise them with the house soon.

5. Describe a Stressful situation at work and how you handled it.

One of the most stressful situations I faced at work was when I had to deal with an angry customer who
wanted a refund for a defective product. He was shouting and cursing at me, and I felt very overwhelmed and
frustrated. I tried to calm him down by apologizing and explaining our refund policy, but he wouldn’t listen. He
threatened to sue the company and report me to the manager. I decided to call my supervisor for help, and
she came over and took over the situation. She managed to calm the customer down and offer him a
satisfactory solution. I was relieved that she handled it so well, and I learned a lot from her about how to deal
with difficult customers.

6. Why do you think this company is good fit for you?

I think this company is a good fit for me because I love beauty and wellness. I have always admired YLG Saloon
for its high-quality services and products, and its friendly and professional staff. I share the same values and
vision as YLG Saloon, and I believe I can contribute to its growth and success with my skills and passion.

7. Why do you think you are a good fit for us?

I think I am a good fit for you because I have experience in retail and customer service. I enjoy
working with people and helping them find what they need. I am also a fast learner and a team
player. I can adapt to different situations and challenges, and I always strive to do my best. I think I
can bring value to your company and make a positive impact.
