SCRIPT Scene 1 crsedssos2s BRIAN: You've got to be kidding me—there are rivers of snow falling down the mountain ‘You can't seriously expect me to do this. JASON: Hold on—the gondola is almost here. BRIAN: There's a full-on storm happening. Snow Is dumping nonstop Why didn't wo reschedule? The mountain is closed for a reason. IASON: Red Bull's already backed this whole event. The funding’s locked, the crew's here, and there's no getting that money back—so we push forward, DIRECTOR (stepping in, headset on, calm but firm): ran, | get it. Butthis is the shot. The light, the snowfall—it's dangerous, yes. But visually I's unmatched. We've got a narrow window before the worst of it hts. (The gondola pulls In and stops. The doors hiss open. LUKE walks inwithout hesitation) LUKE: Iran the line twice this morning before they shut the lifts Visiilty rough, but i we hhave good spacing, we can make it work. Scene 2 croatoa 11 05.25 Snow lashes the gondola windows, turning everything outside into a white blur. The wind howls like a living thing, Inside, condensation drips from helmets and jackets. The four snowboarders—LUKE, BRIAN, CHRIS, and MAV-—sit shoulder to shoulder, strapped into ‘their gear, tension rising like the altude, LUKE (peering out, voice tense) Can't see more than ten feet out there. Fly together.” Scene 3 Jason: ‘Okay, good we're up. Have you ever snowboarded in this bad of a condition? (to Brian) Brian: No, Ive seen some bad weather but never this bad Jason: Hey, I heard on the big Olymple day, the weather was protty rough. Brian: Ye, but! was used to the bad weather back in Colorado, You know, Iwas there every week, every day | was free| just wanted tobe the best, and now Iam but | will never stop wanting to improve. Jason: ‘That reminds me of myself asa kid. You might not know this about me but | practised ‘every day, every night ust to be the best magician (with hope in his voice) ‘but | guess I flled, now fm a stunt coordinator. (sadness in the voice slightly mumbling) Brian: (clearly uncomfortable) We tum I guess you tried? Jason: ‘You're right | just cream to be the most well known magician in the world. Gondola Sereeches open and a cold breeze comes in (sound effect) Scene 4 MOUNTAIN RIDGE ~ DAWN WHITEOUT CONDITIONS The four snowboarders—LUKE, BRIAN, CHRIS, and MAV—stand side by side atthe arop ‘point. Snow whips past them sideways. The world is ll win, frost, adrenaline. They crouch low, boards aimed toward oblivion. GoPros blink red. Heart rates spike. No crowd. No cameras in sight anymore—fust raw storm and silence. LUKE (shouting over tho wind) This is ith BRIAN (orinning witaty) Let's make history! chris ace and push—de clean! may (calm but electric) Three. Wo. one— ALL FOUR ‘ACTION! They launch off the ridge n perfect syno—a wall of speed and fury carving into chaos. ‘Suddenty— Fwooo000sH! ‘A monstrous gust of snow SLAMS over the rldge—a blinding wave of white. Fora split ‘second, they vanish mid-air. Silence. EXT. TEXAS DESERT - DAY - DEAD STILL THUMP. Tum, Tuume. THum. Four snowboarders land In perfect formation—on sand. ‘Sun blazes overhoad. Cactus inthe distance. A hawk screeches. Their boards side to 2 ‘top on red dirt (staring down) This isn't Mont Blane. They al fal silont, the wind whispering across the sand. A SHIMMER in the distance—tke heat, but almost... magical. Scene 5 EXT. TEXAS DESERT- DUSK The sun sinks. Shadows stretch. The other three rest by a crooked mesquite tee, arguing ‘quietly. Mav stands apart, staring toward the horizon. Acker A glint. Something in the distance. Mav (to hime) You better be out here. He grabs his board, slings it on his back, and walks away from the group. EXT. DESERT- NIGHT ‘Mav moves through the dark. The moon Is bright enough to see his own breath. The desert is cold now—qulet, unnerving. {In the distance: a campfire. A sithouette beside it JASON. Mis drone bag lies open. Gear scattered. SAND MOUNTAIN BASE MORNING A hazy light spreads over the desert. Th rks cool, stl, expectant ‘CHRIS stirs first. Then BRIAN, then LUKE. They groggily sit up, Brushing sand from their faces and gear. For a momen, i's peaceful Then— BRIAN (frowning) Wait. what the helt? They all turn. JASON is asleep near the firepit, curled up In Mav's spare jacket. Scene 7 BRIAN (titing his head up atthe massive sand dune behind thom) You thinking what 'm thinking? cHRis We dropit LUKE Like i's powder. They all turn to look up the massive slope of wind-ippled sand. Morning light makes it glow gold. Steep. Clean. Almost inviting. av We can rde it. Grip's different, but carve deep, Keep weight back—we make it BRIAN Grinning) Desert snowboarding. First descent, No crowd, No rules. CHRIS Just one run, Again. LUKE This time, no cameras. No records. Just us. look at each other—then down at their boards, scratched butintact. A quiet unity Jason stands, hesitant. JASON I don't have a board. Mav ‘Then you run. Or ride with me. Jason swallows, Nods. EXT. TOP OF THE SAND MOUNTAIN ~ MOMENTS LATER Four snowboarders—and one wide-eyed passenger—stand silhouetted against the rising ‘sun. The sand glows beneath them lke 2 golden sea. cris We don't fall this time. LUKE We ride. av ‘And we finish BRIAN Desert drop. Lot's make it count. They crouch. GoPros blink red—somehow, still working. ALL (except Jason) “Fall together. Fly together." Boards carve deep into the sand. A rush of speed. Sand kicks like pewder. Lines curl behind them—ephemeral, beautiful. No wind to erase them. Jason clings to Mav's back, eyes wide in awe and fear And for a moment— 1s just tke the mountain again. Scene 8 EXT. BASE OF THE SAND MOUNTAIN - LATER The five of them le sprawled inthe sand, laughing, coughing, adrensline fading. Tracks trail behind them lke art—bold lines against the blank canvas ofthe dune. BRIAN (panting) "art believe that worked. cHRis We're maniacs LUKE We neoded that Mav (orinning) Now we just need a way home. Jason stares out atthe horizon, hountod. JASON Itshouldn't have worked, Any of i may Yeah, well. maybe it was never supposed to Jason looks down—then trips suddenly over something buried beneath the sand. JASON ‘Ow—what the— Mav crouches beside him and brushes sand away. His hand hits metal ma Hold up. ‘They uncover it together—old, rusted railroad tracks, stretching out in both directions, nearly swallowed by the desert. JASON ‘These weren't here yesterday, Maybe they were. Maybe we weren't looking. Jason touches the ral, His eyes widen. JASON (softy) “This isn't just away out. Mav ‘What do you mean? Jason stands, visibly shaken. JASON | studied ilusions. Portals. Phase theory. There were storis about transition points—places where worlds bleed through. But they weren't doorways. They were paths. Roads. Rails. A tong pause, mav ‘You think this ls how we got back? Jason nods slowly. JASON Not by climbing. Not by summits. By tripping. Falling. The wind carries dust In slow spirals around their boots. Tho ‘metal rals hum beneath them, Far down the line, aglow begins to rice—a surreal blue headlight, pulsing lke @ heartbeat ‘through the haze. cHRIS (Gtaring atthe light) Thats nota train. Four snowboarders and one stunned man ina drone rig TUMBLE doun a slope of perfect ‘snow, landing midjump—exactly where they eft off Boards carving. lee fying. GoPros blinking red. Wind rushing past them. Its real. ts now. t's home. The storm fs gone. The sky is blue. Below them: the valley, the lodge, the word They rie it out in sync. Five figures descending as one.
