M At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to spell at least 6 colour words correctly.
C At the end of the lesson, some pupils will be able to read and follow instructions with support.
1. Teacher shows each colour flashcard quickly to the class.
2. They write the word.
I. PRE-LESSON 3. Pupils compare answers, including spelling in pairs.
4. Check with the class.
1. Teacher draws a colour wheel on the board, and ask pupils to copy and
then label it with the correct colour words.
2. Pupils create their own colour wheel and swap it with another pupil and
label their new wheel.
3. On the board, teacher writes six instructions which are numbered.
II. LESSON

DEVELOPMENT
5. Pupils are grouped into groups of six.
6. Each group is given a dice.
7. In turns, pupils roll the dice. The other pupils should tell them what to do.
according to the number they roll
e.g. Sam, open your book.
1. Teacher distributes worksheet B.
2. The groups write new instructions 1-6.
3. Teacher walks around and help pupils with vocabulary if necessary.
III. POST LESSON 4. Check their work before they write a final draft.
5. Teacher provides assistance where necessary.
6. Groups play the dice again.
7. Teacher gives feedback and wraps the lesson up.
