3.0 METHODOLOGY OF WORKS
a. Inspect and confirm measure of area to be sprayed. (The area are ready to spray arrange
by main contractor (PileCap, ground beam, floor slab& apron.)
b. Calculate amount of pesticide material is required. (The treatment will cover the entire
built-up area of the property. Anti-Termite treatment is applied at the rate of 4 litres /
squre meter using a power sprayer)
c. Calculate amount of dilution with water is required.

e. Stages of Process
1st Stage - Impregnation of surface of foundation pits (Pile Cap & Pad Footings). - Spraying
of anti-termite to the area surrounding all sides of column & stump Extending to
below the soil surface or to the top of pile caps.
2nd stage - Impregnation of surfaces below ground beams and trenches area before lean
concrete
3rd stage - Impregnation of surface below the floor slab area before lating of hardcore and
prior to final concreting stages
4th stage- Impregnation of surfaces below the apron/ terraces and areas with 1.2 meter
beyond the perimeter drain all around the building.
4.0 WARRANTY
Anti-termite applicator will provide a year of warranty (as stipulated in requirement) of Termites
free with effect from the date of Certificate Of Practical Completion
5.0 QUALITY PLAN
a. All application of anti-termite treatment to be witnessed by resident staff or clerk of work.
b. For all con-conformity, the necessary rectification works and re-inspection shall be performed,
until the remedial work performed satisfactorily.
c. QAQC department shall ensure that all relevant machinery and equipment are in good working
condition and fit to use. Any equipment found to be unfit shall be removed until necessary
corrective action has been taken.
d. All machineries must be in good working conditions to ensure that works, especially the
materials compaction can be executed up to the standards.
e. All materials use for the works must be comply to the standard and specification.
6.0 SAFETY PLAN
a. All operators to wear full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) with the additional
equipment’s: -
i Mouth & Nose Filter
ii Safety Goggles
iii Gloves
b. A first aid case will be available in the nearby vicinity
c. No other people are to be within 5m of where the work is being carried out.
7.0 INSPECTION AND TEST PLAN
All inspection and testing involved shall be as outlined in the Inspection and Test Plan attached.
As-built drawing shall be produced to the Architect upon completion of the said work
