READING name, which you carry with you all
your life and possibly influences the
kind of person you are, has a unique
Are You Called Adrian Bailey? power to connect you with complete
1 Adrian Bailey is an ordinary man. One strangers around the world.
day, he had a friend request online
from someone called Maria, who he
had never met before. However, it
gradually became clear that she had
made the request to the wrong
person. Maria explained that she was
trying to find someone else called
“Adrian Bailey.” She apologized for
bothering him, and that was the end
of that.
2 Or it would have been, if Adrian’s wife
hadn’t claimed that there couldn’t be
many people named “Adrian Bailey”
in the world. Adrian patiently
disagreed, and after a quick search,
discovered hundreds of Adrian Baileys
online. It was then that Adrian told his
wife that he wanted to make friends
with as many Adrian Baileys as he
could.
3 He started an online group called the
“Adrian Bailey Fan Club.” The rules
were simple: only people called
“Adrian Bailey” were allowed to join.
Eventually, it had almost 200
members, and was growing quickly.
Adrian was very excited, but he even
had to admit that it was difficult to
have group chats with people who
had all the same name. To solve this,
he changed his username to “Adrian
Bailey #1.” However, he changed it
back when people complained that
this made him sound like he wanted
to rule over all the Adrian Baileys!
4 There was a number of strange
coincidences. Surprisingly, he found
an “Adrian Bailey,” living in New
Zealand, who told him that he had
been born on exactly the same day
and had a wife with the same name.
Then there were a few people who
had really amazing lives compared to
Adrian, such as the 75-year-old
millionaire, also called “Adrian
Bailey,” living in a luxury house in the
Maldives.
5 What surprised Adrian most was that
so many people said they wanted to
be his friend and opened up to him,
just because they had a few letters in
common. Adrian now insists that your
