Rationale
The Schools Division Office of Apayao is committed to ensuring that all
learners acquire foundational skills essential for lifelong learning and success.
In support of this, Summer Program shall be offered according to the implementing guidelines
under DepEd Order (DO) No. 10, s. 2025, titled Guidelines for the
Implementation of the 2025 Department of Education Summer Programs, the
Schools Division of Apayao will conduct the Literacy Remediation Program
(LRP), Summer Academic Remedial Program and Division Remediation
Program from May 13 to June 6, 2025.

The Literacy Remediation Program (LRP) shall target Grade 3 learners


during the School Year 2024-2025 identified as low emerging, high emerging
and transitioning in the CRLA EoSY 2024-2025 results.

The Summer Academic Remedial Program is being offered to Grades 4-


12 learners (Key Stage 2-4) in public and private elementary and secondary
who failed in one or two subjects.

The Division Remediation Program is being offered to Grades 4-12


learners (Key Stage 2-4) who are classified under frustration level in the Phil-
IRI and low emerging in the Rapid Mathematics Assessment (RMA). These
programs are designed to strengthen learners’ skills and competencies,
focusing on reading and mathematics, to better support their learning and
ensure their successful advancement to the next grade level. This includes
learner who are failed in 1 or 2 subjects in order to bridge the gap and provide
opportunity for them to be promoted in the coming school year, hence, this
activity.

The specific objectives of the activity are to:

a. provide targeted literacy and numeracy instruction


tailored to the needs of struggling learners,

b. build learners' confidence and motivation in reading,


writing, and mathematics,

c. provide intervention to learners who did not meet


expectations or failed in 1 or 2 subjects,

d. enhance instructional strategies among teachers


handling the intervention program, and

e. To track and monitor the progress of learners


throughout the intervention period.

3. Post-Consultation:
- Compile and analyze feedback.
- Prepare a report summarizing the findings and recommendations.
Expected The expected outcomes from the activity are as follows:

phase.
