1. Title Bar

 Located at the top.


 Displays the name of the file and the program (e.g., Book1 -
Excel).

✅ 2. Ribbon

 The toolbar below the title bar.


 Contains tabs like Home, Insert, Page Layout, Formulas, Data,
Review, View.
 Each tab has groups of commands (e.g., Font, Alignment,
Number).

✅ 3. Quick Access Toolbar

 A small toolbar above or below the Ribbon.


 Provides quick access to frequently used commands (e.g., Save,
Undo, Redo).

✅ 4. Name Box

 Located left of the formula bar.


 Shows the address of the selected cell (e.g., A1).
 You can also use it to name ranges.

✅ 5. Formula Bar

 Located beside the Name Box.


 Displays or allows you to enter formulas or data in the selected
cell.

✅ 6. Worksheet Area

 The main area where data is entered.


 Composed of rows (numbered) and columns (lettered),
creating cells (e.g., A1, B3).
 Each file can have multiple worksheets (tabs at the bottom like
Sheet1, Sheet2).

✅ 7. Cell

 The intersection of a row and a column (e.g., A1).


 The basic unit for storing data.

✅ 8. Column and Row Headings

 Columns: Labeled A, B, C...


 Rows: Numbered 1, 2, 3...

✅ 9. Sheet Tabs

 Located at the bottom-left.


 Used to switch between worksheets (e.g., Sheet1, Sheet2).

✅ 10. Status Bar

 At the bottom of the window.


 Shows information like the sum or average of selected cells, and
current view mode.

✅ 11. Scroll Bars

 Horizontal and vertical scroll bars allow you to move around


the worksheet.
✅ 12. Zoom Control

 Located at the bottom-right corner.


 Lets you zoom in or out of the worksheet.
