Know your Identity in Christ

Please do your declaration in an attitude of worship, not just something

you say to try to convince yourself of something you do not really believe
about yourself.
* Don't just declare but believe what you are saying, you are repeating back to
God what he has said about you. Colossians 2:6 Therefore, as you received
Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and
established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
You received Christ by faith, you walk in Him by faith.
* How do I make what God says I am, mine?
* How do I put off the flesh without getting into works? By realising that it was
not what I was created to be. In a place of intimacy and prayer I separate it
from my true new biblical identity.
* I have been born again and am a new creation, old things have passed away
and all things have become new.
* I have been moved from the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light. I
am part of the new Heaven and the new Earth.
* I was crucified with Christ and it is no longer me who lives but Christ who
lives in me.
* I was buried with Him through baptism and just as Christ was raised from the
dead by the Glory of the Father I was raised from the dead by the same Glory
and this is why I am able to live a new life, not just a different life, a new life.
* Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the
world’s interest in me has also died.
* I have died with Christ, and He has set me free from the spiritual powers of
this world. For I have died to this life, and my real life is hidden with Christ in
God.
* Father I did not say a prayer just to get me to heaven. I said a prayer and
denied myself so I can take up my cross and follow You so You can get heaven
back into me, the way you intended it to be from the beginning You created
me in Your image, after Your own likeness; to be Your image on the earth.
Jesus you came to save that which was lost; your image. God You created me
in Your image but Adam lost it when he ate of the tree. That image that was
lost has been restored to me when I was born again and I thank You that I am
becoming more like that image every day.
* I am so consumed by You that when I look in a mirror; You stare back at me.
* I triumph over the devil and the flesh because of the Blood of the Lamb the
word of my testimony but most off all because I do not love my life unto
death.
* Father I was not created to be a slave to sin and the flesh. Father, You never
made me for anger. You never made me to stand for my own rights and be
broken-hearted, disappointed and live for my own gain, my own desire and
my own will.
* You made me into Your image and to mirror Your image.
* I am a new wine-skin that can hold the new wine.
* I will not build on the flesh I will pursue You and build on the Spirit I am born
again and new life has come.
* I put off the things that Adam became when he ate of the tree, the things
that sin made me to be. I won’t listen to that serpent anymore. I won’t accept
anything that came from that tree.
* Anything that is still in me that came through the fall I surrender. I don’t
want me I want Your image, the image You created me to be to be formed in
me.
* I will only accept that which comes from the tree of life.
* If I cannot find it in the life of Jesus I don’t want to find it in my heart I give
myself to you wholeheartedly, unreservedly I don’t want nothing of me.
* I deny myself the best I understand, I hold nothing back, take me for my
word God. Mould me and shape me, let Grace overtake me. Challenge me in
every way, correct me in every way and lead me through life in your love.
* I hold nothing back the best I understand I am telling you that I am yours.
Consume me in Grace and righteousness.
* I am not judged, I am not condemned, I am not a failure I am loved by You. I
am a son of the Most High God. I am not a sinner trying to be a Christian, no I
am a son that has been accepted by the God of creation and I am loved by
Him.
* Father I want you, I put on the new man. I am a Man led by your Holy Spirit. I
am: A Man of Love, A Man of Joy A Man of Peace, A Man of Patience, A Man
of Kindness, A Man of Goodness, A Man of Faithfulness, A Man of
Gentleness, A Man of Self-Control. A man that takes no account when
suffered wrong. The days of jealousy, hurt and pride is over because it is not
who I am. No man can tear me down, they can only encourage me and build
me up. No man can disappoint me because I have become the love of God.
* I will not let sin against me become sin inside me.
* I put off the old, it is a lie. It is not what You made me to be.
* Everything the world taught me to be I call it dead and I put on Christ I am
not alive for me, I am alive for You and Your image. Nothing can stop me.
* I will manifest Your nature I will manifest Your will I will manifest Your love
every day of my life.
* I submit myself to You. I retain no rights but the right to be like You, to live
like You and to look like You.
* Mercy wakes me up every day to look like my Daddy.
* I am in Christ and Christ is in me. I am selfless and free.
* Father God, I put You on by faith and your Grace is masterfully moulding me
and sketching and edging me and shaping me after Your image.
* Holy Spirit have Your way and make me beautiful in Christ. Let the world
desire You because of what they see in me and let the world know who You
are because I am alive.
* Farther I have not just taken up my cross but I have denied myself. Self is
not my master, You are. I am led by Holy Spirit 24 hours a day.

Consider the work of Calvary. A perfect work, perfect in every respect, perfect
in every aspect

*Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven.

*Jesus was wounded that we might be healed.
*Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might become righteous with
His righteousness.
*Jesus died our death that we might share His life.
*Jesus became poor with our poverty that we might have His abundance.
*Jesus bore our shame that we might share His glory.
*Jesus endured our rejection that we might have His acceptance as children of
God.
*Jesus became a curse that we might receive a blessing
*Our old man was Crucified in Him so that the new man might come to life in
us.

Prayer when you have slipped up.

* Father, thank you for the light that is in my life, it is exposing the things of
old because I am serious when I say that I want my heart one with Yours. I just
realise that I was thinking this or said that or was letting this move me here. It
was the old man and I call him dead, it is not who I am or who you are in me. I
thank you for your wisdom and your light that casts out everything that is dark
in me. You are Light and there is no darkness in You, you live in me and I do not
want any darkness in me. Thanks for loving me, thanks for edging, moulding
and shaping me into Your image. Thank You for making me more like you.
Thank you that Your Mercy and Grace has its way in me. Christ is my wisdom,
and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That is why he is the
one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who
are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For
Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed
under that first covenant.

Declaration to make during communion:

The Bread
Father, I thank you that I am your Son. I am not a sinner trying to become
a better "Christian". I am a son of the Most High God who loved me so
much that he sent his only Son to die on the cross for me.

Lord Jesus you are amazing.

Because your Body was broken I can go to work and shine like you.

You gave me an example to follow.

The world has taught me certain things but You have told me to lay it
down

Thank you Father for sending your Son who modelled a life that I was
created for.

My life is not about me but about You in me. Christ in me the hope of
glory. Christ flowing through me will manifest that glory.

Father thank You for working in me, Thank You Holy Spirit for putting
integrity honour and discipline inside me.

I am declaring to You that I do not love my own life unto death.

I am not a touchy man.

I have no need to be right.

People are not going to crush me and hurt me.

I have been raised up in You.

The Lord is my helper what or who shall I fear?

I will manifest You come hell or high water.

I am not asking for a bed of roses, I am thanking You for truth.

I take this today knowing that it is a complete and everlasting covenant;

it can never be broken because it is between You and Your Father and I
enter into this covenant through Your sacrifice on the Cross, through
Your broken body and Holy Blood.

Thank you Father for making me a son and as Your Son gave His body I
give You my body.

This body of Your Son gives me life and sustains me. It gives me
strength and gives me energy.

I do not agree with what the world says about ageing, I am not waiting to
degenerate and fall apart. I do not know what 60 looks like in Your
Kingdom but I know I feel good and healthy in you.

Thank you Lord God for giving Your body and by Your stripes I stand
healed.

I thank you that nothing can stop the power of God through the faith that
I have in my heart because You live inside me.

I thank you that I receive the blessings of this covenant and because You
died and rose again I stand before You justified, unmarked and
unscathed by life or sin.

A son forever.

Jesus I thank you that You are not ashamed to call me brother.

Lord Jesus I honour You and receive the covenant through Your body,
through Your flesh.

I eat it with joy.

Your body for my body, together we are one.

I thank you Lord…partake of the body.

The Blood

Thank you for your blood that you shed for me.

You did not withhold your Blood from me – I will not withhold mine from
you.

It is not about what You can do for me or what I can get from You - it is
about how You are making me more like You.

I am not just asking for You to bless me - I am following You.

I want to be a little Christ-like one.

I give You my whole heart I give You my whole life.

This cup has put such honour inside of me.

You have shown me the way not a way.

I don’t want a way I have found the way.

I am going to follow You no matter what my feelings say, no matter what

people say.

I don’t want my rights – I want Your nature,

I don’t want rightness, I want your righteousness, I want Your mercy,

Your love and Your forgiveness.

Your blood has empowered me and opened up access to all that you are
because this cup means I am righteous in Your sight. You send Your
blood and everything I have done outside of you is forgiven and
forgotten.
You see me as Your own.

You see me as if I never walked away.

You see me as if I have never done anything wrong.

You see me as if I was always born into You and not into Adam.

I thank You that I am born again.

I thank you that this Blood speaks more than the forgiveness of sin.

It speaks the heart of God, the love of God, the nature of God, all that you
are inside of me.

I give You all that I am so that all that You are You could be in me.

Father search my heart I don’t want the flesh I want to live by the Spirit

I am led by the Spirit.

I am ruled by the Spirit.

My soul agrees and my flesh says yes sir

I am going to live by Your Spirit and not fulfil the lust of the flesh

Because of this Cup I am so inspired I am so empowered.

Your Spirit lives inside of me because of Your Blood.

Your nature lives inside of me I am Your son I am not lost I am found I

am forever alive and never forgotten.

I am Yours and You are mine.

For all eternity I will never fear again.

You are my God and my King.

I worship you through this Cup, it is the Blood of the New Covenant.
You will never leave me, you will never forsake me.

Mercy has triumphed over judgement.

You have covered and removed a multitude of sin

I am not standing here a sinner. I am standing here a son – righteous

spotless and pure because You made me that way.

You did not just clean me positionally, You have washed through my
inner being and have cleaned the inside of this cup (me) and now the
outside will live clean because I am one with You.

Because of this cup all these things are true.

Thank You for Your Blood that has made me clean and free.

You have washed me through your holy Word and you have proved it
through Your holy Blood.

I receive and remember and say, thank you my King and my God

You need to see this...

What if God's value system is different than yours? What if the cross wasn’t
only for the forgiveness and removal of your sins, but the actual value
system of God! You were worth the price of the life of Jesus to our ABBA
Father! We’ve all heard this song... "I’ll never know how much it cost to see
my sin upon the cross." But we need to see the cost of our sin upon that
cross!

“But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our
iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His
scourging we are healed” Isaiah 53:5 (NASB).

The cross cost Jesus everything…it’s a picture of what you’re worth to the
Father. What if you really believed this? What if you woke up every day,
looked in the mirror, and declared “I’m worth the blood of Jesus!”

...It would CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

The devil HATES when people know and live from the truth of their value
rather than work towards it…but if we don’t see that our value system is
different than Gods, we’ll never see rightly. God's value system is not
dependent upon our success or good works or people we’ve helped or how
many healings we’ve seen…God's value system is dependent upon the price
Jesus paid on the CROSS and His blood poured out.
We need to look in the mirror daily and know what God says about us and
our true value in the Father’s eyes. We need to let this reality make us
GODFIDENT!

In Ephesians 1:5-6 it says “He predestined us to adoption as sons through

Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the
praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the
Beloved.”

This means you’re accepted in the Beloved…this means

God’s accepted you!

No person on earth can take away what only God can give. If your
acceptance came from God through Jesus, how could a boss or friend or
family member take away what they didn’t give to you? Once we learn to
rest in this reality, everything changes…

If you’re going through a hard time or searching yourself wondering what

you have to be thankful for I want to remind you that you have everything to
be thankful for… Jesus provided the greatest gift in His sacrifice of blood
and life laid down for you to be reconciled back to the Father. The only time
we can develop an attitude is when we’ve lost our eternal perspective of
gratitude.
You were worth the life of spotless, perfect Jesus…It’s who you are! That’s
amazing! Accept it, live from it, and before you leave your house today
declare, “I AM worth the blood of Jesus!!”
