ABSTRACT
Since English pronunciation errors are often caused by the transfer of the version
language sound system. The present study Investigate the effects of explicit
pronunciation instructions on undergraduate. English as a foreign language (EFL)
Learners vowel perception enhancement the non-equivalent group. Pretest, post test
design was employed to study two clases of English literature and English teaching
student at Kuser University of Bojnord (KUB) as the experimental group (EG) and
control group (CG) perspectively. A 40-item minimal pair test was developed based
on the third edition of the bookship or shipwritten by baker (2020). The reliability of
the test was estimated 0.75 though KR-21 formula. After the pretest administration
both groups were exposed to the same activities. However only the e.g received the
treatment regarding explicit pronunciation instructions at the end of a week training
program the pretest was used as the post test the result of the independent samples test
from the post test revealed that the e.g had a better revealed that the e.g had a better
performance than the e.g suggesting that EFL learners vowel perception can improve
if they are explicitly made aware at their pronunciation errors.
1.
This research aims to investigate the effects of pronunciation training on the accuracy
of the vowel A and E Senior High School Student this study seeks to determine
whether pronunciation training can significantly improve The pronunciation accuracy
of these two vowel among Senior High School Students.
1. What is the current level of pronunciation accuracy of the vowels a and e among
Senior high school students?
While some studies have focused on the impact of training on overall pronunciation
accuracy, research specifically examining the effects on individual vowels like A and
E is limited.

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT"
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
The conceptual framework aim to explore the impact of pronunciation training on the
accuracy of vowels a/and/ e in Señor High School student. It proposes a theoretical
model that integrates relevant linguistics and pedagogical theories to explain the
potential mechanism underfying pronunciation improvement. The framework also
outline key factors that may influence the effectiveness of pronunciation training,
including student motivation styles, and the quality.

THEORETHICAL FRAMEWORK
ONE FREQUENTLY notices that language teachers who have made themselves
reasonably conversant with methods of waching pro nunciation in thery, have
difficulty in applying their knowledge when faced with the practical handling of the
particular cases (of mispronunciation, &c.) with which they are confronted. Their
failure to bridge satisfactorily the gap between theory and practice commonly shows
itself itself in one or more of the following ways: (1) They may, when it comes to the
point, avoid altogether the problems of spoken language that they ought to be
tackling, they are then no better off, for all their theoretical knowledge, than those
who know nothing of phonetics-indeed, countless seachers with little or no precise
knowledge of methods of teaching pronunciation nevertheless achieve satisfactory
practical results, which they obtain by the application of common-sense priociples,
coupled with natural teaching ability, by dint of perseverance and painstaking
attention to detail, and with the experience gained from much trial and error. (2) They
may misuse their theoretical knowledge by acting on the assumption that their pupils
art, or should be, interested in phonetic theory. They therefore proceed to teach
phonetics per se, and however well they in fact do this (and even assuming that the
time so spent is not considered to be time wasted), the result is only to divorce the
teaching of phonetic theory from the practical business of seeing to it that theit pupils
acquire a good pronuncia- tion. The error here consists in failing to appreciate that the
theory to be Found in the textbooks needs to be pre-digested and turned to practical
account, if pupils are to be taught to pronounce a foreign languags acceptably, and if
they are to understand in their turn how phonetic theory can be profitably applied.

STUDENT: This study is beneficial to students because this kind of training on vowel
accuracy can help students overcome common pronunciation errors, leading to better
comprehension and fluency in spoken english. It can contribute to improving
communication skills, enhancing language acquisition and advancing our
understanding of language learning process.
Public speakers: This research effective to public speakers need to articulate clearly
and confidently. Pronunciation training can help them enhance their delivery, improve
their audiences engagement and make a lasting impact.
Future researcher: The outcome of this study would serve as their studies in the
future. This will make the study of the future researchers easier and faster.
Parents: The study could give a direction and guidance to the parents as they will be
informed on how the effects of pronunciation training on the accuracy of the
vowels /a/ and /e/ on their child. This would help them realize and develop the way
pronounce.

This chapter present a Review of Related Literature that provides a foundation for
understanding the impact of pronunciation training on the accuracy of vowels "a"and
"e" in senior high school students.
2.6. Conclusion
This review of related underscores the crucial role of pronunciation in language
acquisition and communication, emphasizing the challenges posed by English vowels,
particularly "a" and "e" Current research, as demonstrated by Studies tiket like Barren
(2021) and Derwing and Rossiter (2021), supports the effectiveness of explicit
pronunciation training programs enhancing vowel accuracy. This study aims to
Further investigate the impact of pronunciation training on vowel "a" and "e" in a
Philippine context, contributing to the development of effective Language teaching
practices.

CHAPTER III
RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODOLOGY
The participants in the study are Senior High School Student in AANS Dawis DLC.
The respondent of HUMSS and STEM with 10 participants of HUMSS and 10
participants of STEM .
In this study the data collection process involves Pre-test: the pre-test administered to
both groups before training to measure baseline pronunciation accuracy of vowel A
and E Pronunciation test: A standardized pronunciation test specifically designed to
assess the accuracy of vowels A and E should be used this test should include a
variety of word and phrases containing these vowels in different contexts Post - test:
administered to both groups after the training can provide qualitative data on their
learning process and challenge. Survey: Questionnaire can be used to gather feedback
from participants on their perception of the training program and its effectiveness.
Instrument used
The study will employ the following instruments for data collection: pronunciation
Assessment: A standardized pronunciation assessment tool will be used to evaluate
the participants accuracy in producing the vowel A and E . Questionnaire : A
Questionnaire will be administered to the participants to gather their participants and
experience with the pronunciation training program. This will provide valuable
insights into the effectiveness of the training from the training from learner's
perspective. Audio recording equipment : Digital audio recording equipment will be
used to capture the participants pronunciation during the pre-test and post-test this
will allow for accurate analysis of their pronunciation accuracy.

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
And also we give us to aims to understand and give the proper pronunciation
training to the students because we like the students be like before that no one give us
proper training of Vowels before that no and pronunciation.
