APPLE

CROCHET PATTERN

Skill level: Advanced Begginer Weekend Project


Materials and Tools:
Yarn for the base: 120 meters/100 grams Green, dark green, brown
Yarn for blush and smile: 165 meters/50 grams Colors: pink, black
Crochet hook 5 mm
Sewing pins
Needle with a wide eye
Safety eyes 2 pieces - 14 mm
Liquid glue
Polyester fiberfill
Scissors

Abbreviations:

MR – magic ring
Sc – single crochet
Inc – increase
Dec – decrease
Ch – chain stitch
Hdc - Half double crochet
Dc - Double crochet
Tc - Treble crochet
X – denotes how many times to repeat the action in parentheses – ()

Notes:
This pattern uses US crochet terminology.
Every round should be continuous (NO Slip Stitch).
You can place safety eyes or embroider them with black yarn.
The circles next to the instructions are a checklist that will make it
easier to follow the pattern

Rnd 2: 6 Inc (12)

Fill the apple and compress it from top, bottom, and sides to give
its shape.
Rnd 20: 5 Ch. Start from the 2nd chain from the hook 4 sc
Cut the yarn, leaving a long strand for sewing.
Fold the stem (brown color) in half and sew it through the
remaining loops on the side.
To get the natural apple shape, sew the apple several times with
the brown yarn. Insert the needle near the stem and bring it out
from the opposite side, repeating several times.

Leaf - Dark Green


Attach the yarn to the stem by crocheting 1 sc in the 19th round. 7
Ch, start from the 2nd chain from the hook: 1 sc, 2 Hdc, 3 Tc, sl st in
the same loop where you started crocheting the leaf.
Cut the yarn, hide it inside the apple.
Blush - Pink Color
6 Sc in a MR, close with 1 Sl st. Leave a tail for sewing.

Sew on the blush below the eyes on the sides - if you’d like to avoid
sewing this part, you can use a pink blush instead.

For the smile, take a piece of black yarn approximately 1.5 cm long.
Apply glue to the strip, fold it into a C shape, and attach it between
the eyes.
Your Apple is Ready!
