as when/ where it often happens, general effects of natural disasters.
● IDEAS:
- flood: during the rainy season, especailly in central and south Vietnam
- storm: between June and November, bring strong and heavy rain, which can lead to floods
- landslide: happen after heavy rain, in the mountainous areas
- drought: usually in the highland or central Vietnam, in the dry season when there is not enough rain for a
long time
- earthquake: not happen regularly, not very strong or common
EFFECTS:
+ cause a lot of damage to people’s lives and the economy
+ destroy many things like homes, roads, ….
Ex: In Vietnam, there are several types of natural disasters. The most common ones are floods, especially
during the rainy season in the central and southern regions. Typhoons also happen often, bringing
strong winds and heavy rain. In the mountainous areas, landslides can occur after heavy rains.
Sometimes, droughts happen in the dry season, especially in the central highlands. There are also
occasional storms and earthquakes, but they are not very strong or common. These natural disasters can
cause a lot of damage to homes, roads, and farms.

+ update the latest news through the broadcasting station
- People share information about natural disasters on social media so that more and more people get to know
about them
