1- -------------- Last week I went to London for the day with my friend Kate and her family.We got up at
six o’clock and the train left at seven o’clock.The journey wasn’t too long-three hours.
2- -------------- In the morning we went to the science museum.It was brillant,but there was a
problem.There were too many things to do and not enough time.We stayed there all morning so
at one o’clock we were very hungry.It was a lovely day and we had a picnic in the park.
3- -------------- Kate took some photographs in the park and we also went to Oxford Street.We went
shopping.I bought a T-shirt and some postcards and Kate bought some Cds.
4- ---------------We went on a boat trip down the River Thames.We saw the Thames flood barrier. It
was very interesting.They built in 1984. because sometimes there was too much rain and there
were floods in London.
5- ---------------After that we went to a restaurant and I had a huge pizza and an ice-cream.I ate too
much but I didn’t eat as much as Kate.Then we rushed to the station for our train home.
6- ---------------On the way home Kate fell aleep.I wasn’t as tired as her and I listened to music.We
arrived home at midnight.It was a wonderful day.
