Project Goals:
The project is designed to make math more exciting for the students.
The project is an opportunity for a student to connect math with real life.
The project will also help the students to understand the practical application of ‘Statistics’.
The project will help the students to calculate the Mean of the data by different methods.
Guidelines:
A/4 size project papers (One side ruled and other side blank)
Spiral bound.
Pictures required relevant to the topic on the blank side with appropriate titles.
SELECT ANY THREE INTERNATIONAL CRICKETER (BATSMAN).
Collect the data of runs scored by each player in their first 25 One Day International (ODI)
matches.
Prepare a frequency distribution table data of runs scored with class intervals 0–20,
20–40, 40–60 and so on.
Using the table created, calculate the batting average of the players in their first 25
matches.

Creating a project that combines printmaking techniques on A3 water color paper with use of different types
of green fresh leaves and dry leaves.
Instructions:
1. Students need to use water colour paper of 300gsm.
2. Students can use their choice of nature leaves to do print work on paper.
3. Focus on leaf texture, colour scheme and composition of their art work.
Creating leaf prints on A3 watercolor paper is a captivating project that merges natural elements with
artistic expression. Here's a structured approach to guide you through the process.
1. Understanding the Technique:
Leaf printing involves transferring the natural patterns and textures of leaves on to the paper.
2. Selecting Leaves:
Choose leaves that are fresh and vibrant, as they contain active pigments that will transfer better on
to the paper.
3. Print Techniques
Direct Imprinting:
1. Place the Leaf on a water color paper upside down.
2. Use a acrylic paint or ink a thin layer on leaf to get a print form on paper.
3. Gently press the leaf on the paper by hand to transfer the Pattern.
4. Carefully remove the leaf to reveal the print.
5. Have a good artist wash at the background of water paper.

Objective:
This project aims to develop students’ understanding of home science concepts through practical application
and research. Students need to prepare a detailed project showcasing their learning.
Project Topics & Guidelines
A) Types of Fabrics – Structure, Sample & Laundering Process :
Students will research and present information on Cotton, Silk, Wool and Synthetic Fabrics by covering the
following aspects:
Fabric Structure : Characteristics, fibre origin and weave/knit type.
Fabric Sample : Attach a small sample for each fabric.
Laundering Process : Explain how to wash, dry and maintain each fabric properly.

D) Budgeting at Home – Ways, Means and Creating a Realistic Budget:

Ways to save money and manage finances effectively.
