Komodo dragon
The Komodo dragon is the world’s largest lizard, belonging to the
monitor lizard family. These reptiles are found only in Indonesia, primarily
on Komodo Island and nearby islands like Flores and Rinca. Locals call
them "ora" or "land crocodiles" due to their fierce appearance.
Komodos have strong legs, rough skin covered in small, hard scales, and
long tails. They can run up to 18 km/h for short distances and are excellent
