INTERNSHIP DURATION: 4 WEEKS
ROLE: Operations and Logistics Management Intern
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
Moveabox is a dynamic logistics based organization which started in 202o during the peak of
COVID-19, founded by a Christ University student hoping to transform how logistics worked
in an evolving global landscape. Organization which started as a response to the
inefficiencies in the global logistics chain soon became one India’s most trusted logistics
platform. The platform gained its edge by combining innovation and resilience to meet the
demands of an ever growing market.
The organization finds its roots in the philosophy of customer centric approach and
operational efficiency. The company strives to be the complete and singular solution to all
logistic related requirements pan India. They achieve this by providing a wide array of
services from both domestic and international couriers to relocation and warehousing
services. The organization also works in corporate logistics helping other organizations
streamline their supply chains in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Moveabox continues to have a significant impact on the market as it tackles logistical
fragmentation head on by striving to simplify supply chain co-ordination.

tagline, “One Platform for All Your Logistics Needs,” captures our mission to be the go-to
solution for logistics management, delivering convenience and streamlined coordination
across all our services.
COMPANY MISSION:
Dedicated to addressing logistical fragmentation, MoveABox offers an integrated platform
that streamlines all facets of logistics and supply chain management. This encompasses
courier services, warehousing, corporate logistics, relocation, and vehicle transportation. We
facilitate a more efficient logistics experience by removing the hassle of coordinating with
multiple vendors, which in turn improves efficiency, reduces costs, and enhances reliability.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND WORK CULTURE
Moveabox is a small enterprise with just a team of 4 core members and 3 on site helpers. The
organization outsources manpower if and when required for larger logistics projects making
the organization cost effective and efficient.
The core members are:

Renu Singh (Partner)
Navin Kumar (Operations Manager)
Kavi Vanan (R&D Associate)
The core members along with various automative tools and interns provide seamless and top
quality services in the areas of relocation, domestic and international couriers, corporate
logistics etc.
The team works as a close knit group with the aim of fostering growth and development of
not only the logistics market but also of all the individuals who are involved with the
organization.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INTERNSHIP
INTERNSHIP ROLE: OPERATIONS AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT INTERN
TIME DURATION: 4 WEEKS
MOVEABOX OFFICE IN BANNERGHATTA ROAD, BANGLORE
THROUGH THIS INTERNSHIP I AIM TO GAIN A IN DEPTH EXPERIENCE OF THE
LOGISTICS MARKET, LEARNING ALL THE BACKGROUND SYSTEMS THAT WORK
SIMULTANEOUSLY TO ENSURE A SMOOTH CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
MY DUTIES AS AN INTERN WILL INCLUDE:
1. Managing Customer queries
2. Generating purchase orders and sales invoices
3. Overseeing the manpower for relocation services
4. Data entry and financial record keeping
5. Generating and maintaining tracking Id’s
6. Coordinating between the admin, customers and delivery teams.
THE EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
Through this internships I hope to acquire the following skills:
1. Familiarity with softwares such as Zoho, Delhivery, CRM Systems etc.
2. Logging and maintaining financial records.
3. Exposure to customer acquisition process.
4. Understanding of generation and validation of sales invoices.
The above are some of the technical skills that I hope to learn from this interview but in
addition to that I believe this internship can provide me with the opportunity for personal
development by giving me exposure to Decision making, Collaboration and Effective
Communication processes.
CONCLUSION
Through this preliminary report, I have tried to summarize my understanding of the
organization, from its history to its work culture. I have laid out all the expectations I have
from this internship and what all I wish to gain and learn during my tenure. As a new addition
to the Moveabox team, I appreciate the vibrant, learning and growth oriented environment I
am introduced to, giving me hands-on and intense experience of the working of the logistics
sector.
I am expecting to have a great learning experience which will help me acquire skills and
knowledge that will act as a catalyst for growth in my professional and personal life. I would
like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Raunak Raj and Mr Kavi Vanan who have accepted
me under their wings and have agreed to act as my mentors throughout my tenure.
