1. Install the Professional GP300/GM300 Series CPS Software, restart PC afterwards.
2. Then, open the file Codeplug (.cpg) for the specific vessel

3. Switch ON the GM360 and Connect the cable 3080369B72 to the rear side
4. Then connect RKN4083B to a PC via Serial Port. Put a fresh battery on the RIB before
programming.

5. Click the “Write” icon to start the programming

6. Select the COM Port number

7. During the programming the radio display will disappeared.
8. When programming is finish, it will prompt on the display the name of the vessel
9. Radio is now programmed to have Channel 1 – 20
10. Additional Notes
a. We are still using the same frequency band, the only difference with this new setup is
the RX/TX Squelch type. We are now using TPL and each vessel have dedicated
TX/RX PL frequencies. On CH 1-10 TX/RX PL mode are enabled while on CH 11-20
is disabled. CH 11- 20 is equivalent to Zone 2 (CH 1-10) of DP4400.
b. On some cases after programming, the radio has becoming frozen at CH 1. Just make a
hard reset in case it happened.
c. In case you have a GM340 model, use the cable provided and connect to the Radio
interface box (RIB) and as same procedure.
