The students must actively participate.
The students are tasks to the picture shown by the
teacher.
They need to complete the task within two minutes.
Students who actively participate in the said activity
will be rewarded with 10 points.
i. Lesson Proper
a. ACTIVITY: “EXPLORATION TIME!!”
The class will be divided into four (4) groups.
The students must list down their names in ½
crosswise and must identify their leader.
Each group are task to find an example of a sports
writing and must be presented in front.
They are given 5 minutes to do the task.
b. ANALYSIS
After the said activity, now that the students have
settled down, the teacher will ask the following
questions:
1. What are your observations or insights
during/after the activity?
2. Do you have any prior knowledge about sports
writing?
3. Does the activity help you to have an idea
about our next topic?
c. ABSTRACTION
The teacher will post the objectives on the board.
The teacher will introduce the topic of the day.
The learning process shall be centered on the
students through active participation and sharing of
ideas with the entire class and give reasonable
answer/s to the questions present on the table.
The students shall give examples to supplement the
idea or discussion, and the teacher will probe
additional ideas from them.

Now that the students already have an idea
about the different types of sports writing now,
they have to apply it to the next activity.
Using the same group during the previous
activity, they have to choose which of the
types of sports writing they want to use to
make a sports writing.
They (the students) are given 10 minutes to do
the task.
