Symptom
When you are maintaining roles in the Profile Generator, problems occur in the
following special cases when you use the F4 help:
1. When you exit the F4 help for the CO_ACTION authorization field ("Actions
of CO-OM" authorization check), the program generates a short dump.In this
case, it is irrelevant whether you have selected values or not.
2. The F4 help for the KOART organizational level is defined using domain
values.When you call this help in the "Define org. level" dialog box, no
values are displayed.This problem also occurs if you convert normal
authorization fields, to which domain values are assigned, into
organizational levels (see note 323817).
3. For the AUTHAREA, RESPAREA and VBER authorization fields, the K_VBER_EXIT
function module is entered in the USEXIT table as a maintenance dialog.If
you have converted the aforementioned fields into organizational levels and
want to maintain the fields in the "Define org. level" dialog box, you must
forgo using the input help up to now because the special maintenance dialog
box is not available here.

Solution
Implement the Support Package or the correction instructions.
Important remarks for eliminating symptom 3:
• Manual screen change
If you implement the solution using the correction instructions, you must change the screen
manually. ONLY do this if you are absolutely sure you can implement these type of changes.
Otherwise, we urgently recommend that you import the Support Package instead.
The change refers to screen 0100 in the main SAPLSUPRN program.Add another
pushbutton called T_STORG-CHANGE beside the T_STORG-NOVAR button in the first
row of the ORG_TC table control in the graphic Screen Painter (transaction SE80
or SE51) and you maintain the following attributes (attribute window (F2)):

The Screen Painter automatically adds the pushbutton into all the other lines of
the table control.
• Extending a table entry
The maintenance dialog for the AUTHAREA, RESPAREA and VBER authorization fields
contains a tabstrip control with a maximum of seven tab pages. In table KBEROBJ,
you can define which of these statements is displayed, depending on the
individual authorization objects in which the fields are contained.
However, these specifications are irrelevant for cross-object maintenance via
the "Define organizational levels" dialog box.To determine tab pages required
there, you must create a new entry in table KBEROBJ (transaction SE16).The first
field (OBJECT) must remain blank in this table;
Note that this addition is not part of the delivered correction because it is a
customer-specific setting.
Caution
To transport the table entry, you have to trick the system because entries with
an empty key cannot be created on transport requests.
To do this, navigate to the object list of the required transport request in
transaction SE09 and manually create an entry with the R3TR TABU KBEROBJ object
key manually there. Double-click on this new row to go to the maintenance screen
for the key list. Create an entry there with the ' *' value. This transports all
entries that begin with blank spaces into KBEROBJ.
