Reflection on Afghan Bazar

Afghan Bazar is a well-known online marketplace in Afghanistan that helps people buy

and sell goods easily. Launched to support local businesses, Afghan Bazar allows users to find a

variety of products, including electronics, clothing, and handmade items. This platform has

become very important, especially as many Afghans prefer shopping online due to safety

concerns and limited access to physical stores. By providing a convenient way to shop from

home, Afghan Bazar has made it easier for people to get what they need, contributing to a

growing e-commerce culture in the country (Afghan Bazar, 2023).

Running Afghan Bazar involves several significant costs. One of the main expenses is

creating and maintaining the website and mobile app. This includes paying for web hosting

services, software updates, and security measures to keep customer information safe. Afghan

Bazar also needs to invest in logistics, which means ensuring that products are delivered on time.

This involves costs for transportation, hiring delivery drivers, and sometimes even renting

storage space for products. Additionally, the company spends money on marketing to attract new

customers and promote its services, which is essential for competing with other online platforms

(Khan, 2023).

Afghan Bazar must also follow local laws and regulations, which can add extra expenses.
