LEARNING OBJECTIVES

M At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to ask about classroom objects using fixed
phrases.

C At the end of the lesson, some pupils will be able to write a description of their bag by
connecting words and proper names using ‘and’.
1. Teacher demonstrates the game ‘Please’.
2. When you say please after an instruction, pupils do it.
I. PRE-LESSON 3. When you don’t say please, pupils don’t do it.
4. Give instructions quickly one after the other, practising the imperatives
and the classroom objects.

1. Teacher display sentence strips on the board. (Activity 1 SB page 17)


2. Teacher reads the sentences, pupils repeat in chorus.
3. Teacher checks understanding by asking pupils to mime the sentences.
