React Web Developer

ROLE SUMMARY
Part of the Technology Development, this React Web Developer will play a pivotal role in the design, development,
and maintenance of our Liferay Portal sites. The role will ensure the solutions, when delivered, are fully functional
and responsive.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform hands-on design and development for Liferay portal sites.


• Support activities for Liferay portal sites with focus on feature-rich design, usability, and site performance.
• Deliver solutions based on requirements and pending schedules.
• Establish and execute traceable unit and integration tests.
• Provide estimates, regarding work effort, for assigned projects.
• Understand and apply industry practices, architectural standards, and department policies / procedures
relating to work assignments.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience delivering extranet/customer-facing solutions from start to finish.


• At least 3+ years of experience in development and implementation of enterprise-level React applications.
• Proven utilization of Web services, including Service/System Integrations.
• Possess strong Web UI development skills (i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React).
• Possess the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Experience with code management tools, automated build setup, and deployment procedures.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate has personal time-management skills with an ability to meet individual, and team deadlines.
• Candidate has excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills.
• Possess the ability to communicate effectively across multiple IT team disciplines.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Insurance industry experience is considered a plus.
• Location : offshore / remote

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
