My mission as an upcoming clothing brand is to deliver high quality, long
lasting, timelessly elegant pieces to advocate for sustainability in fashion
and combat against the destructive wave of fast fashion that has risen.
My SWOT analysis of my brand:
- Strengths: having organic, natural fabrics and materials, ethically
sourced and cruelty free, fair wages for laborers, unique designs and
an established market.
- Weaknesses: high materials cost, rise of real estate prices therefore
high rent, and expensive machinery, rare and expensive sustainable
packaging alternatives.
- Opportunities: the virality of environmental awareness and the need
for sustainable brands, the condemnation of the fast fashion ethics and
low quality, accessibility and affordability of digital marketing.
- Threats: the rise of many potential competitors, machinery
malfunctions, price fluctuations.
The major forces in my task environment:
- Customers: I plan to target the upper middle class and the wealthy
who care more about the sustainability and the quality of the items
rather than just the affordability, and I plan to do this through the
brand marketing and by caring for each small detail like the packaging.
And also monitoring their behaviors to predict any change in their
preferences.
- Competitors: I will try to stay one step ahead of them and come up
with more innovative ideas and better quality pieces.
- Suppliers: I will make sure to have only the finest, most comfortable
fabrics and materials from honest and reputable suppliers.
- Labor market: I will aim to hire the most skilled craftsmen to end up
with the best end result and i will make sure to pay them fair wages in
order to earn their loyalty.
