ALL BAP MEMBERSB 1. -Assignments: Assignments of referees shall be
decided by the chairman/ asst chairman of the management and officiating
officials. Request of officiating officials to officiate a particular game is
strictly prohibited.
B 2. System of the tournament
1. October 2024 FIBA rules must be applied in this tournament. (To be
explained by the officials)
2. There must be FIFTEEN (15 teams who will be competing in this
tournament.

4. Single round robin must be used in the preliminary round.
5. Teams must be classified according to their Win-Loss records, namely
two (2) points for each game won, one (1) point for each game lost
including lost by default and zero (0) point for a game lost by forfeit.
6. . If there are two (2) teams in this classification tied or with equal points
before the semi-finals, winner over the other system will be used.
7. If there are more than two (2) teams tied or with similar points before the
Semi finals, points of difference system must be applied.
8. Forfeiture Fifteen minutes (15) waiting period after the scheduled time,
before declaring a game.
9. Eight minutes per quarter. Note : 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ,must be running time
and the 4th stop watch.
B 3 ..COMPETITION FORMAT
1. The 15 teams will be compete in single round [Link] the elimination
top 4 teams advance to semi final match.
2. Crossover match up will be TOP 1 vs Top 4 and TOP 2 VS TOP 3
3. The SEMIFINAL WINNERS will then move to the FINALS/CHAMPIONSHIP,
while the LOSER will play for 3rd and 4th Place.
C. Team Composition
1. Changing each team name is allowed to submit tournament a maximum of
15 players

adding and changing of players are not allowed after the team’s first game.
3. any players listed in the official list can play in any game
4. A registration fee/entrance of 2,500.00 aside from registration fee a team
must be pay a Php 500 per game.
5. Must be a legit members or worker of the said company.(Requirements
payslip,company id signed by Manager.
4. Sports attire is required (shirts with numbers, rubber shoes with visible
socks, playing shorts)
D. Conduct Behavior :
1. Players, coaches and, team managers and team followers must observe
rules and regulations and must not make any derogatory remarks and gesture
to the officials, opponents and spectators.
2. Only the team captain and coaches are allowed to clarify the decision of the
officiating referee and table officials. This must be done in a courteous
manner and during timeout only.
3. Players, coaches, team managers and team followers who are under the
influence of liquor are not allowed to play, coach and manage the team nor to
sit down at the bench during the scheduled game.
4. Smoking inside the gymnasium is strictly prohibited
5. Players, coaches, team manager and followers who intentionally harm
fellow players, officials and spectators during the game, must be banned in
playing, coaching and managing the team for the whole duration of the
tournament (the degree of the offense must be identified by the referees, table
officials and the technical committee).
6. All harmful accessories “burloloys” are strictly prohibited.
7. Fingernails must be trimmed.
8. All players must observe / maintain proper hygiene.
[Link] FOULS any PLAYER/COACH who displays
unsportsmanlike/ disrespectful act such as slashing of neck, showing of dirty
fingers, pointing of accusing finger and trash talking/shouting bad words/foul
language, contesting calls, arguing with the officials and others. A WARNING
maybe given or .a TECHNICAL FOUL .shall be .slapped.
[Link] FOULS- a player causing contact withan opposing
Playmate, which gives an unfair advantage and such contact are neither
intentional nor flagrant.
[Link] - a player causing excessive contact which may cause or have
caused injury to an opponent such as: a) excessive swinging of elbow; b)
throwing a punch; c) tripping; and d) intentional contacting/pushing the back
of a player going for a basket shall be judge to be either an
UNSPORTSMANLIKE/DISQUALIFYING FOUL.
12. PLAYERS'/COACHES' Conduct:
Any player/coach, who is slapped with a Disqualifying Foul and ejected
because of FLAGRANTLY UNSPORTSMANLIKE ACT (not due to 2/3 Technical
Fouls), shall be penalized accordingly PLUS an additional game
suspension/total disqualification or banned from further participation,
depending on the gravity of the offense. (As may be determined by the
technical committee.)
[Link]/shouting of obscene/foul language/bad words or verbal abuse from
players/coaches to opponents/officials or teammates shall not be tolerated.
Such act shall be dealt with a warning or a Technical Foul will be slapped. The
Coach shall behave as a professional, and or being a responsible sports
official or teacher and that in any way it will not sacrifice the values and
discipline of the team but rather to protect the integrity of the game. Any
infringement/ violation of this conduct shall be penalized with a Technical
Foul, Game Suspension and or Ban.
[Link] shall keep and leave their bench areas clean and orderly. Non
compliance shall be dealt with a Warning for the first offense, TECHNICAL
FOUL for the second offense.
15.A player may be allowed to play with an incomplete uniform, for any valid
reason thereof, (only when a Request by the HOD was submitted and
approved by the TM), but shall be slapped with a Technical Foul before he
will enter the playing court.
16.A team that walks out of their game shall be penalized with a
Disqualification from the competition and likewise the Coach shall be
BANNED.
[Link] Coach who abandons his/her team without any valid reason shall be
penalized with game suspension to ban for 1-year and or perpetual
disqualification.
17. GAMES DISRUPTION:
Games which are cancelled/disrupted/stopped due to "FORCE MAJEURE"
or for any valid reason, will be treated in the following manner:
17.1. REMATCH - if the disruption of the game took place during the first half
(1st and 2nd periods), game shall be replayed and the scores is
disregarded/back to ;r,ero.
17.2. RESUMPTION -if the disruption of the game took place during the
second half (3rd and 4th periods), the game shall be resumed with the
remaining game time and the scores stays.
17.3. RESET - if a scheduled game was cancelled for a valid reason, the
management will re-schedule/reset the game at the bottom of all the scheduled
games, and if the game result is no bearing already such game may not be
played anymore.
17.4. DURATION OF WAITING - in case of a power failure or any incident (rain
or darkness) that may affect the progress of the game, the LENGTH of time to
wait for the restoration of normalcy is 30 minutes or as may be allowed by the
Tournament Manager or his authorized ATM.
18. SPECIAL PROVISIONS:
The Tournament Manager reserves the right to make any decision on matters
that affects the conduct of the tournament and which subject/ concern is not
covered/ specified in this ground rules.
G. Protest
Written protest is required and shall be done 20 minutes after the game.
