Group 1
The Mystery of the Missing Homework
1.
It was there. We all saw it. Crisp pages, handwritten in neat rows. Proudly completed. A
triumph of effort! A victory over procrastination! And now… it’s missing.
2.
Gone. Vanished. Disappeared without a trace. One moment, it existed—the next, a blank
space in the bag, a cold pit in the stomach.
3.
And the room… falls silent. Eyes shift. Minds race. A thousand excuses, a thousand fears, all
crash like a wave against the panic in our chests.
4.
Voice 1 (panicked): “I swear it was in my bag this morning!”
Voice 2 (accusing): “Are you sure?”
Voice 3 (suspicious): “Or are you just saying that… because it’s not done?”
5.
We open the case.
Not a legal case.
Not a pencil case.
A mystery case!
THE MYSTERY… OF THE MISSING HOMEWORK!
6.
Cue dramatic music. Cue spotlights. Cue the entrance of a detective—hat tilted, magnifying
glass ready, trench coat flapping dramatically in the wind of imagination.
7.
Detective Know-It-All (Voice 4):
“I’ve solved tougher cases than this.
A stolen science fair volcano.
A missing permission slip.
Even the Case of the Confetti in the Teacher’s Mug.
But this... this is personal.”
8.
Step one: examine the crime scene.
Backpack: chaotic.
Pencil case: exploded.
Lunchbox: suspiciously empty.
No sign of the homework.
9.
Step two: identify suspects.
The wind?
The neighbor’s cat?
The dog?
10.
Voice 5 (defensive):
“It wasn’t my dog! He’s innocent! Okay, yes, he ate my sock, and chewed my calculator...
and maybe swallowed a pencil… but he did not eat my homework!”
11.
Group A (sarcastic):
Sure.
Very believable.
Dogs are totally known for their love of essays and math worksheets.
12.
Group B (mock-scared):
Maybe… it was stolen.
By… the Homework Goblin!
He creeps in the night, searching for fresh assignments to devour!
13.
All (giggling):
Or maybe… just maybe…
We forgot to do it.
14.
Voice 6 (confession):
I meant to do it.
Really, I did.
But first I blinked…
Then I scrolled…
Then I blinked again…
And somehow, it was 1:00 AM and all I had was a title and an empty page.
15.
Voice 7 (echoing dramatically):
“Chapter One: The Homework That Wasn’t”
16.
All (laughing):
We’ve all been there.
Caught between good intentions and terrible time management.
17.
We try to be responsible.
We really do.
But sometimes, Netflix is louder than our conscience.
And the game... just had one more level.
18.
But truth has a way of creeping in—quiet at first, like a whisper.
Then louder.
Until it’s a foghorn in our chest:
“You should’ve done it.”
19.
So we stop.
We breathe.
We look at our teacher’s face.
And finally, we say it…
20.
All (honest, clear):
“I didn’t do it.”
No lies.
No drama.
Just truth.
Because sometimes, owning up is the bravest thing we can do.
21.
All (with humor and hope):
So next time, no goblins.
No dogs.
No time-traveling paper thieves.
Just us.
Trying. Failing. Learning.
And maybe—just maybe—getting the homework done.
Group 2
The Voice of the Pencil Case
1. Mysterious Opening
All (whispering, mysterious tone, soft, almost like a secret):
What happens when the pencil case is closed?
Is it just a bag full of supplies?
Or…
Is it a world of its own?
Let's find out.
2. Pen (Confident, Smooth)
Pen (confident, authoritative, smooth):
I am the pen.
Sleek. Strong. Essential.
I glide across the page, leaving my mark.
A permanent one.
Unlike the pencil, I don’t make mistakes.
I am a leader. A force.
The page bends to my will.
3. Pencil (Anxious, Jittery)
Pencil (soft, jittery, slightly anxious):
I am the pencil.
I am here for the drafts.
The sketches.
The ideas that aren’t quite finished yet.
I make mistakes, but that’s okay.
Because I can always erase them.
I’m the humble hero. Quiet, but steady.
4. Highlighter (Flashy, Dramatic)
Highlighter (loud, dramatic, full of flair):
And I am the highlighter!
Bold. Bright. Impossible to miss.
When I step onto the page,
Everything becomes clearer.
Like sunlight breaking through a storm.
Don’t you see?
I bring the important parts to the front!
5. Eraser (Grumpy, Sarcastic)
Eraser (gruff, sarcastic, with a hint of annoyance):
Oh, here she comes.
The highlighter.
So bright, so shiny.
But who’s the one who cleans up the messes?
Who erases those mistakes?
Me. The eraser.
Without me, you’d be stuck with all your flaws.
And believe me, no one wants that.
6. Sharpener (Cool, Calm)
Sharpener (smooth, cool, almost boastful):
Sharp? You bet I am.
I give the pencil a purpose.
Without me, you’re just a blunt piece of wood.
Dull. Pointless.
But with my touch, you’re a weapon of precision,
Ready to create, write, and conquer!
7. Paper Clip (Quiet, Soft)
Paper Clip (quiet, calm, matter-of-fact):
I’m just a small paper clip,
But I hold things together.
When the papers start to slip,
I step in.
I organize the chaos.
You can’t always see me,
But I’m always there—keeping it all together.
8. Glue Stick (Energetic, Fun)
Glue Stick (energetic, bouncy, full of life):
Did someone call for glue?
I stick things together like nobody’s business.
No one notices me until they need me.
But once they do, I’m the hero of the hour.
I’m messy. I’m fun.
And yes, sometimes I leave a mark, but who cares?
I’m the one who makes things stick.
9. Ruler (Firm, Steady)
Ruler (steady, authoritative, with an air of control):
I am the ruler.
Straight lines are my specialty.
I bring order to the chaos.
Measure twice, cut once, they say.
Without me, you’d have crooked edges, uneven pages.
I am the law of straightness.
And yes, I rule this pencil case.
10. Sticky Note (Excited, Small)
Sticky Note (high-pitched, excited, with urgency):
Excuse me, excuse me!
I’m the sticky note.
I might be tiny, but I have the important messages.
Don’t forget your homework!
Don’t forget your lunch!
Don’t forget that test!
You might not think you need me,
But trust me, you do.
11. Old Homework (Grumpy, Tired)
Old Homework (tired, a little grumpy):
I’ve seen things.
I’ve been scribbled on.
I’ve been crumpled and thrown aside.
But here I am, still hanging on.
Leftover, forgotten…
Yet still holding onto the hope that one day,
Maybe, I’ll get finished.
12. Sticker (Playful, Snarky)
Sticker (playful, with a bit of attitude):
I’m the sticker.
I stick everywhere.
On notebooks, on pencils, on faces—
Oh yes, I’m that kind of sticker.
You think I’m just for decoration?
Well, let’s see how you feel when I brighten up your world.
I’m here to add some fun to your life.
13. Scissors (Sharp, Calculated)
Scissors (sharp, serious, almost a little scary):
Be careful with me.
I’m sharp, but precise.
One wrong move and I’ll slice through more than paper.
But when used correctly,
I cut through the clutter and the confusion.
I’m clean. Efficient.
A sharp tool for sharp minds.
14. Rubber Band (Flexible, Forgetful)
Rubber Band (stretching, distracted):
Oh, I’m just here, stretching out.
You know, not a big deal.
I hold things together when needed,
But sometimes I forget where I’ve been.
A little twist here, a little snap there.
And before I know it, I’m holding together all sorts of things…
Even the messes.
