Front-End Developer Intern


Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Front-End Developer Intern to join our Point-Of-Care


Microfluidics Engineering team. You will help build and optimize responsive, interactive user
interfaces for web applications, working closely with designers and back-end developers.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern and advanced
front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement responsive, interactive UI components using frameworks


such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all web features.
• Optimize user interfaces for speed, performance, and accessibility.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and services (REST, GraphQL).
• Conduct UI testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure quality and
robustness.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and
solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox, Grid, and animations), and
modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with at least one advanced front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue, or
Svelte).
• Familiarity with TypeScript for scalable, maintainable code.
• Exposure to CSS frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap.
• Understanding of state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Vuex, or NgRx)
• Experience with build and bundling tools (Webpack, Vite, or Rollup).
• Familiarity with component-driven development and tools like Storybook.
• Awareness of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and accessibility standards.
• Interest in emerging trends such as micro-frontends, AI-assisted development, or
Web Assembly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with server-side rendering ([Link], [Link]).


• Familiarity with static site generators (Gatsby, Astro).
• Understanding of API integration (REST, GraphQL).
• Knowledge of visualizing data and 3D graphics ([Link], [Link]).
• Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git).
