Tail Star

that will be single crocheted together, or you
can sew them together if prefered.

side of the point and then continue to create the
next three points following the steps above.
There are 20 stitches in you magic ring, so
the base of each star point should be 5 stitches.
FO with first star piece and make your
second piece but do not finish off. Now you
may chose to sew the two pieces together if
you wish or crochet them together. I
crocheted mine together, and at the top of
each point I Sc, then Ch1, then Sc and
continued crocheting down the side of the
star. I stuffed my star lightly, but you may
choose to leave it unstuffed if preferred. Once
you are finished you will leave a long tail
for sewing and use your needle or hook to
pull the yarn you will sew with through the
center of the star as it will be sewed to the
tail from the middle center.
A S S E M B L Y

Start by sewing the head to the body. For a snuggler, I like the body flat, and placed
towards the back of the head so it leaves room for the arms to be sewn on in front. If
you’re making a plushie you can keep the neck open and rounded and then sew the arms on
the front of the body or on the sides. I like the arms sewn on right where the head and
neck meet, regardless of if they are on the side or in front. Next, sew the black neck tuft
on at the head and neckline directly in front of the arms. After this you will sew the
yellow face tufts to the head. Sew them on with one of the yellow tufts slightly overlapping
the black neck tuft, and then the other yellow tuft angled up, slightly framing the face.
A S S E M B L Y

Now, sew the legs on to the body each being place a few stitches away from the original starting
magic ring. Flip Roary over and attach the tail. I placed mine in the middle of the black section of
the body. After this, sew the black tail tuft directly where the tail meets the body, it should have
the center point of the tuft in the middle above the tail and should be wrapping around the tail. It
probably will not connect on the underside of the tail and that is fine. Now you can attach your tail
star to the end of the tail with the piece of yarn you pulled up through the center of the star when
you made it. Sew it to the tail with the tail directly in the middle of the star. Next you will sew
the inner ear pieces on the ears. This is where the long tails from each section of the inner ear piece
come in handy. Pull those through the ear to secure it in place, then sew the inner ear piece onto
the middle of the ear. After you finish, hide the tails inside the ear.
A S S E M B L Y

Now, sew the ears to each side of the

head. You will use the yarn you pulled
through the side of the ear when
creating it to sew it on. I sewed mine at
rounds 8-13 about 3-4 stitches back
from the eyes. Lastly the 2 head tufts
will be sewn on the head. The big tuft
will be sewn on directly on top of the
magic ring with the increases facing the
back of the head, and then the small
tuft will be sewn directly in front of
that. I like to take my yarn tail from
the small tuft and sew the two tufts
together about halfway up the tufts to
make them look like one piece.
