Key programming
General
Before programming the key(s) a repair code is required
The repair code is recorded on the security card
Note: Never leave the security card in the vehicle
Programming keys
Procedure in case the remote control is lost or fails to operate
Turn the ignition off
Close the driver's door
Insert the key into the driver's door lock
Turn the key to the UNLOCK position the number of times indicated by the first digit of the code
Turn the key to the LOCK position the number of times indicated by the second digit of the code
Turn the key to the UNLOCK position the number of times indicated by the third digit of the code
Turn the key to the LOCK position the number of times indicated by the fourth digit of the code
Note: Ensure the key is fully returned to the centre position after each turn
The security indicator light will stop flashing
This indicates that the password has been correctly entered
Wait for 5 minutes
Within (X) minutes (X = 10)
The engine can be started
Programming remote control
Synchronize the transmission signal of the remote control
Use the key to unlock the door
Press the lock button (X) times (X = 5)
The remote controls are synchronized

Use a coin to remove the button cell cover
Insert a coin at the ring
Caution! Avoid damaging the seal between the two halves of the case
Remove the button cell
