Today I will administer the assessment for CSS NCII.

The purpose of this assessment is to check the level of your competency

The CSS NC consists of 4 core competencies

(State all the competencies)

The tasks to be performed are the following:

Install and configure computer systems

Set-up Computer Networks

Set-up Computer Servers

Maintain and Repair Computer Systems and Networks

The methods that I’m going to use are demonstration and oral questioning

The result of assessment it could be Competent and not yet competent

If you can’t understand the instruction don’t hesitate to ask me because I’m
very much willing to help you or I will translate the item in our vernacular
which you could not understand.

This assessment is confidential. I, you and personnel inside this assessment

If you are not conforming to the result of your assessment you are free to
write an appeal to the provincial office address to the Provincial director.

If you need personal necessity, our CR is located beside the Computer room,
If you wish to buy your food, our canteen is located at the ground floor.

Hers is the do’s and don’ts during the assessment

1. Practice safety all the times

2. Use PPE(Personal protected Equipment)

3. Avoid using CP

4. Don’t eat inside the assessment

5. Don’t disturb your co- candidates

candidate, so that you will be able to know what are you going to do during
this assessment. I will distribute to you now your no. Any questions or
clarification, if none. Here is your numbers.

Here is the materials, tools and equipment to be used, perform the task
within 4 hours. Before demonstration I will give written test. After your
demonstration I will ask you some questions related to your demonstration,
and I will give feedback. While you are performing the task I will observe you
using Rating Sheet. Again remember safety first. You may start

Demonstration is done
Candidate No. 1, Pls set down, How’s your assessment? Since you have
finished the demonstration, I will give you first question to know you’re under
pinning knowledge

Why do you need to perform proper disk partitioning?

What tools are you going use in measuring the neck hole?

Why do you need to observe safety precautionary measures?

While on the process of installation, you found out that you only has one partition instead of two
which is required. What will you do?

Before the installation, you found out that your bootable device has been corrupted, what should
you do?

For Competent:

Based on my observation your written test are perfect.

Based on my observation your oral question you have answer satisfactorily

Based on your demonstration

You installed windows properly and correctly

During your preparation and installing windows you did it very well.

But the only observation that you need to improve is proper body posture
when you are in working area. So what you are going do is you need to
practice proper body posture in taking client body measurements and seat
properly while sewing, but don’t you worry because this is not critical
observation.

So all in all, you are Competent, Congratulations!!!

You may claim your CARS signed by the Assessment Center Manager at
Assessment Center

And you can claim your NC II Certificate at TESDA Provincial Office within 3
working days after this assessment. Bring 100 pesos for certification fee, 1
pass port size ID picture and present you’re CARS.

For Not Yet Competent

Candidate no.2 please set down… Since you have done performing the job I
will ask you first question related to your demonstration.

What are the sequences in taking clients body measurement?

What tools are you used in marking pattern?

What tools are you going use in measuring the neck hole?

Is it necessary to take body measurements correctly? Why?

What is the first step in sewing garments?

Is it necessary to apply finishing touches? Why?

You have done now written exam, demo and oral questioning. If you were
given a privilege to rate yourself 1to 10, how would you rate?

Based on my observation you have answered the oral question satisfactorily

In task sheet your performance is good because you draft and cut pattern
correctly, you prepare and cut materials properly.

You sew the garment….you are good in operating sewing machine but you
failed to attach your collar, you forgot the technique in attaching collar.

You apply the finishing touches. But you forgot the standard measurement in
attaching buttons because you missed to measure the distance in every
buttons.

So the result of your assessment you are Not yet Competent. I suggest you
need to practice or review your module. If you are ready and confident to
take the assessment. You have to apply at assessment center for
reassessment, and you will reassess if there is schedule of the assessment
and assessor is available

Pls sign first the CARS and rating sheet. You can claim your CARS to the
assessment Center, Pls bring your CARS if you will take the reassessment so
that the assessor will be able to know which competency you have to take….
