<Year-End Letter Sample>
Dear Parents,
- I hope you are enjoying the sudden bursts of glorious sunshine that pop up around
the current downpours of Korea’s rainy season.
- KG2.5 has had a very busy month juggling class commitments and yet we’ve still
managed to make some precious school memories with the annual song contest.
- The class's success in this event really is down to their continued efforts over the last
few weeks. In the lead-up to the competition, we spent hours in the gymnasium
practicing positions, dance moves, and singing loud enough to be heard at the back
of the hall. Taeho did a fantastic job stepping in at the last minute to help lead our
first song with Cathy. He was consistently one of our loudest and clearest singers. I
really was impressed with the class' commitment and desire to do well and so their
silver medals and snack party were justly deserved. Ms. Jennie and I were really
satisfied by their reactions when they realized they’d won a medal. It was reassuring
to see that all their hard work had paid off.
- Taeho continues to enthusiastically engage in his English classes. Taking the
available opportunities to ask questions and discuss varied topics or moments that
interest him. He’s becoming an avid fan of grammar classes it seems, he always
wants to do the unit test in the workbook to demonstrate his understanding. This new
enjoyment is showing itself to be a boon as he is showing an improved
understanding of sentence construction in a number of our short sentence exercises.
- July is shaping up to be another important month here at CCLC. The annual
storytelling contest is a few short weeks away and gives all our students a great
opportunity to show off their public speaking skills and to claim another piece of
impressive silverware. Good luck to one and all!
-
- Yours sincerely,
- XXX
