CONTRACT OF PARTICIPATION

This Contract of Participation (hereinafter referred to as “Contract”) is made and entered into
this ___ day of _________ 2025, at Central Luzon State University (CLSU), Science City of Muñoz,
Nueva Ecija, by and between:

The UNIVERSITY SUPREME STUDENT COUNCIL, the highest student-governing


body of CLSU, with office address at Student Union Building, Central Luzon State
University, Science City of Muñoz, duly represented by its CHAIRPERSON,
DHARCEL B. PARUNGAO, and hereinafter referred to as “USSC”;

-and-

_____________________________________________, a bona fide student of CLSU,


operating a business under the name _______________________________________,
with contact address at (if applicable) _______________________________________,
hereinafter referred to as “Entrepreneur”.

[Collectively referred to as “Parties” and individually as “Party” wherein notices and


general matters may be delivered to by hand, registered mail, or other acceptable means]

WITNESSETH THAT:

​ WHEREAS, USSC is organizing the SIRKALAKAL: Students’ Bazaar as part of University


Week 2025, providing a platform for student entrepreneurs to showcase their products and engage in
entrepreneurial activities;

WHEREAS, the Entrepreneur wishes to participate in the Students’ Bazaar and agrees to abide
by the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Students’ Bazaar for University Week
2025, which governs the terms, conditions, and code of conduct for all participants;

NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the Parties agree as follows:

SECTION 1
Roles and Responsibilities

(a)​ USSC SHALL:


a.1.​Provide designated stall areas at the university oval and facilitate the participation of
Entrepreneurs.
a.2.​Ensure fair and transparent implementation of the IRR, including monitoring and
compliance inspections.
a.3.​Provide necessary coordination with concerned offices for safety, security, and
orderliness within the bazaar premises.
a.4.​Impose penalties or sanctions on Entrepreneurs found violating the IRR.

(b)​THE ENTREPRENEUR SHALL:


b.1.​Acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the IRR of the
Students’ Bazaar for University Week 2025, attached as Annex A, and was posted on
the official USSC Facebook page as part of the application, which forms an integral part
of this Contract.
b.2.​Adhere to the operational rules and business regulations as set forth in the IRR.
b.3.​Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of their assigned stall.
b.4.​Be responsible for any materials, equipment, or products used in their operations.
b.5.​Promptly pay any required participation fees within the set deadlines.

SECTION 2
Code of Conduct

(a)​ Entrepreneurs must conduct themselves with professionalism and courtesy toward customers,
fellow participants, and event organizers.
(b)​Any form of misconduct, including verbal or physical harassment, theft, or fraud, shall result in
immediate termination of participation.
(c)​ The Entrepreneur shall comply with all university policies regarding safety, security, and ethical
business practices.

SECTION 3
Violation and Termination

(a)​ Any violation of the IRR and this Contract shall be subject to corresponding penalties, including
possible termination of participation.
(b)​USSC reserves the right to terminate this Contract and revoke participation if the Entrepreneur:
b.1.​Engages in prohibited activities stated in the IRR.
b.2.​Fails to comply with payment deadlines or operational requirements.
b.3.​Poses a risk to the safety, order, or integrity of the event.
(c)​ In the event of termination, the Entrepreneur shall vacate their assigned stall immediately
without refund of any fees paid.

SECTION 4
Liability Clause

(a)​ USSC shall not be held liable for any damages, theft, or loss of property incurred by the
Entrepreneur during the Bazaar.
(b)​The Entrepreneur assumes full responsibility for their business operations and any liabilities
arising from their participation.

SECTION 5
Force Majeure

(a)​ Neither party shall be held liable for failure to fulfill obligations under this Contract due to
unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters, government
restrictions, or other emergencies.

SECTION 6
Miscellaneous Provisions

(a)​ Any modifications to this Contract shall be made in writing and signed by both parties.
(b)​Should any provision of this Contract be deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining
provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
(c)​ This Contract shall not be interpreted as creating an employer-employee relationship between the
Entrepreneur and USSC.

SECTION 7
Effectivity

(a)​ This Contract shall take effect upon signing by both parties and shall remain valid for the
duration of the Students' Bazaar - UWeek 2025.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have affixed their signatures on this ___ day of
